RHONY alum Jill Zarin’s daughter Ally Shapiro reveals she is ENGAGED during family getaway to Europe

Jill Zarin’s daughter, Ally Shapiro, excitedly revealed she’s engaged after a surprise proposal during a European getaway with her current fiancé Jordan Bilfeld and her family.

The 60-year-old RHONY alum, who recently reunited with her former castmate Bethenny Frankel in the Hamptons, accompanied her daughter, 31, on the memorable trip, as well as her partner, Gary Brody.

Shapiro announced the engagement, which took place in Spain, via her Instagram Stories on Friday, showing off a stunning diamond ring on her finger.

In the first photo, the businesswoman and Bilfeld, who is a director of a media agency, paused for a selfie, with the couple smiling happily for the camera.

Ally held up her left hand to show off the diamond sparkler as a GIF appeared on the screen that read, “OMG.”

Another photo was taken when she was wearing a comfortable dress and a white towel wrapped around her head. Her hand was over her mouth as she showed the ring to her followers once again.

It seemed as if she was standing on a balcony and in the distance there was a picturesque view of rippling water and buildings.

The media personality also added a short clip recorded just minutes before Jordan’s big question.

Sipping a refreshing drink, she wrote: ‘5 minutes before I was proposed to, it just poured and I drank my spritz. I had absolutely no idea.’

Ally was quick to share the news with her close friends, sharing a screenshot of some of the Facetime conversations she had.

In one of the photos, the lovebirds pose together, with Shapiro excitedly holding up her hand and her girlfriend writing, “My best friends are engaged!!!! @allyshapiro @jbilfeld.”

Another photo was taken of Ally and Jordan sharing a romantic kiss as the sun began to set on the horizon. She tagged her fiancé followed by a red heart emoji.

Shortly after, Shapiro snapped a quick photo of her left hand so she could get a better look at the diamond ring. ‘@celebritycruises best week ever @jbilfeld.’

While it is unknown when the newly engaged couple began dating, the two officially announced their engagement on Instagram in May 2022.

Her mother, Jill, who is also traveling with her boyfriend, Gary Brody, apparently didn’t know about the proposal. And while she was “shocked,” the star revealed she is “excited for the couple.”

The former RHONY star shared a clip on her Instagram page shortly after Jordan proposed.

Shapiro and Bilfeld were seen embracing by a pool as a photographer snapped memorable photos of the special milestone. Others could be heard clapping as they watched the public proposal.

“I am speechless! Gary, Ally, Jordan and I have spent the past week on a Celebrity Cruise in Europe and we leave tomorrow,” she explained to her fans.

‘After lunch Jordan asked Ally to take a walk on the beach… mind you, after it had been raining for 30 minutes. Gary and I are just waiting for the check.’

She said they then “heard cheering and clapping and I started clapping and walked over the railing to look and guess who just got engaged??? Surprise!!!!”

‘Mazel Tov to my beautiful daughter and her FIANCE Jordan Bilfeld. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome him and his family into our home. I’m still in shock. We had NO idea.’

Jill also shared a video on Instagram in which she talks more about her daughter’s engagement.

As she sat on a bed, she said, “Okay, I just wanted to give you an update because you just watched a video at Grand Foley about our luncheon food.”

‘Five minutes later, Jordan said to Ally, “Let’s take a walk on the beach.” He proposed and they got engaged. I was shocked.’

“And I have a video of myself saying, ‘Oh, who’s getting married?’ Because everyone was clapping and applauding, and I was clapping and running over to see who it was.”

She added: ‘Jordan and Ally with a photographer! I’m like, what? And someone says, “Who’s that?” And I say, “That’s my daughter!”‘

“What the f***! Anyway, we’re happy for the couple. A little surprised. Surprise! Mom was surprised.”

In preparation for the proposal, Jill and Ally shared photos from their summer vacation on their social media pages.

Zarin has a daughter — and only child — with her ex-husband Steven Shapiro, to whom she was married from 1987 until their divorce in 1998. Ally was conceived during the marriage via a sperm donor.

The TV personality married Bobby Zarin in 2000 and the couple were married until he passed away in 2018 at the age of 71 due to complications from cancer.

Jill is known for her role in the popular Bravo series, The Real Housewives Of New York City, from 2008 until her departure in 2011.
