Marysol Patton, sitting next to Catania, then marveled at how Mounjaro has become ‘the fast forward’ button ‘to Skinnyville’.

“The reunion is in two weeks. I do have a trainer [as well],’ Catania said.

After the episode aired, viewers flocked to social media to label Catania’s latest interview as “unhealthy and triggering.”

“Dolores saying it’s #Ozempic took me out so proudly lol smh [shaking my head],” one Twitter user wrote.

Another asked, “Wait a minute, isn’t there a shortage of Ozempic for diabetic patients?” And Dolores just casually admitted she’s on it with a big smile on her face?’

A third commented that it was “a bit confused that Dolores and the rest of the #RHONJ cast” jumped on the Ozempic bandwagon so quickly as their castmate Jackie [Goldschneider] recovering from an eating disorder.’

Other comments included one Twitter user exclaiming, “OMG. Dolores is also on Ozempic. This is crazy!’

However, some applauded her “for being so honest.”

In 2019, she lost 25 pounds by eating out at restaurants less often, eliminating specific foods from her diet, and becoming more strict about what she ate in general.

“People around me that I know are losing weight,” the Bravo star shared Life & Stylebefore revealing that her costar Teresa Giudice’s daughter, Milania, inspired her to get in shape.

She continued, “Actually two young girls – my niece Sarah and Milania Giudice. She’s lost so much weight and she’s still losing weight.’

“I put on weight — I go up and down in weight, I had to stop,” she added.

To lose weight and get healthier, she chose to participate in a 45-day diet program at the Elite Health Center in New Jersey.

The plan caused her to make drastic changes to her daily diet, including cutting out “all sugars, all carbs” and oil.

Dolores added that her ex-husband Frank Catania, who she has remained close friends with since the couple divorced more than 20 years ago, also didn’t believe how seriously she would take the diet.

“Everyone was laughing at me, laughing at me,” the star added.

Dolores described the diet they followed and said she was only allowed to consume 750 calories a day.

And while she was determined to incorporate exercise into her weight-loss plan, her busy schedule got in the way.

She said, ‘I was really really motivated, I really wanted to do it. Unfortunately I was so busy that I couldn’t get to work. If I had exercised while on this diet, I probably would have lost another six or seven pounds.”

The reality TV star said that while the diet plan was effective for her, it isn’t for everyone.

“This is not for someone who is not committed. I didn’t want to spend my summer with the weight I gained over the winter,” she said.

Dolores added that she “needed” the diet program to get her “summer body.”

“Weight doesn’t come off easily as you get older, it just doesn’t. When we were younger, we could lose it quickly.

“I knew this was the diet for me to get my summer kick-start and lose the weight I needed in about a month,” she said.
