Teresa Giudice was reportedly hit with a $17,061.32 federal tax lien in April 2023, bringing her New Jersey tax debt to more than $1 million, according to The sun.
The RHONJ star, 51, was fined on April 19 for allegedly failing to pay off her debt in the years 2020 and 2021.
While they have not currently filed any releases, the Morris County Clerk’s Office reports that the latest thing brings her outstanding debt to a total of $1,096,012.14.
That has her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. told Page six that Teresa is proactive and is already making “significant” and “timely” monthly payments.
‘Mrs. Giudice has been aware of her tax obligations for years and is making significant monthly payments on a timely basis for her outstanding tax obligations and will continue to do so until those obligations no longer exist,” Leonard said in a statement.

Just two years ago, Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice — both of whom previously served prison terms after being convicted of fraud in 2014 — filed a $64,157.64 lien against them for the years 2016 and 2017.
They then received a lien of $243,425.50 for the year 2014 in April 2016 and a lien of $219,804.38 for the year 2015 in May.
The most startling portion – a reported 551,563.30 in October 2015 – is due for the years 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2013.
Teresa has paid off her alleged debt, with The Sun reporting that she paid off another lien last year for $363,120.
According to the outlet, it was created in her name only for the years 2011 and 2012.
A $235,510.15 judgment by Alliance Laundry Systems against her, along with her ex-husband Joe and his parents Filomena and Frank, in July 2013 was successfully paid off in February 2022.
Teresa also forked more than $11,310.59 in April 2022 to North Hudson IVF — a company she and Joe used in hopes of conceiving a son — for a June 2009 judgment.
They finally welcomed their daughter Audriana Giudice, the youngest of their four girls, naturally in September 2009 after the failed IVF attempt.
In 2017 it was reported by TMZ that Teresa had fully repaid the $414,588 tax debt she owed the government as part of her sentence.
The sun then reported that a supposed $8,000 in fines had also been “paid in full” as of February 2022.
Both Joe and Teresa pleaded guilty in 2014 to “one count of conspiracy to commit mail and telegram fraud, one count of bankruptcy fraud by concealment of assets, one count of bankruptcy fraud by false oaths, and one count of bankruptcy fraud by false statement.” ,’ according to the DOJ.
Joe “also pleaded guilty to one charge of failure to file a tax return.”
Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison in January 2015, but was released two months early for Christmas on December 23, 2015.
Joe was imprisoned in March 2016 and served a 41-month sentence before being deported to his native Italy in October 2019.
The decision to report the star was made last year.

Joe is still unable to return to the United States, but he has been working with an immigration lawyer since 2021.
He told E! News that he is “doing everything possible” to get his daughters back and that he keeps in constant contact with them via FaceTime.
Joe and Teresa’s daughters, Gia, 22, and Milania, 17, also visited their father in Italy during the height of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
Joe and Teresa’s divorce was finalized in 2020. They were married for 20 years before announcing their divorce in late 2019.
Teresa remarried Luis Ruelas, 48, last summer and — despite her alleged guilt — bought a lavish $3.3 million mansion in New Jersey in 2021.
TMZ reported at the time that it was an “investment property,” but Teresa later confirmed that it is indeed her and Luis’ love nest.
The couple’s wedding was an extravagant affair at the Park Château Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey in August 2022.
The star’s wedding hair alone cost $9,500, according to ETand it was previously reported that the venue cost $32,000.
