RHOC star Shannon Beador AVOIDS jail and is sentenced to three years probation for DUI hit-and-run after she crashed her car into a house in Newport Beach

Orange County Real Housewife Shannon Beador will avoid jail time in her DUI hit-and-run case after a California judge settled on three years of probation.

The troubled reality star was sentenced on Thursday. She was given 36 months of informal probation plus fines and fees.

She will also have to complete 40 hours of community service and a nine-month alcohol program.

The Bravo staple didn’t show up in court herself, but she had her attorney appear on her behalf to enter her plea of no contest to one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more.

The judge dismissed the single charge of collision causing property damage.

A source close to Shannon said: “It’s safe to say she’s relieved and grateful she won’t have to go to jail. This experience has taught her so much and shown her the path to a better life. She is down to earth and doing very well.’

Legal documents originally obtained by TMZ revealed that Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer tried to convince the judge to hand down a 30-day jail sentence.

Beador, 59, was arrested in September after crashing her car into a home in Newport Beach.

Video surveillance footage shows Beador driving through a residential area before crashing her car into the side of a house.

In the legal documents, DA Spitzer wrote that Beador had a blood alcohol content of 0.24 percent before the crash – three times the legal limit.

Beador walked away from the crash with a broken left wrist, in addition to cuts and bruises to her left eye.

She has since paid for property damage to the house she hit.

Following her arrest in September, Beador’s lawyer Michael Fell told DailyMail.com: ‘Shannon is extremely apologetic and remorseful. We await official information regarding this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to take full responsibility for her actions.”

In the aftermath of the accident, Beador told her fans and followers that she is “focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself and walking Archie (her dog).”

Shannon made her relationship with John official on Instagram in July 2019 after ending her tumultuous marriage to David Beador.
