Besides cosmetic concerns and personal preference, there are several reasons why people choose to remove their breast implants, including pain and complications such as implant shifting or leaking.
According to Cleveland Clinic, the “most common reason for implant removal is because scar tissue around the implants hardens,” which can cause discomfort.
Grammer has battled cancer twice and has been a strong advocate of early detection over the years.
In 2013, she was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer, which she treated with a radical hysterectomy.
Four years later, she revealed that she had undergone surgery after learning she had squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), a common form of skin cancer.

While talking about surviving endometrial cancer, Camille said her life changed “psychologically” in “so many” ways.
‘When you first get diagnosed it’s surreal. I was scared. But my mother survived stage 3 ovarian cancer. I was diagnosed with stage 2 uterine cancer. I felt confident that I would survive because I saw my mother survive stage 3. And if I hadn’t had that, I would have been even more doubtful,” she said in a 2016 interview with Oncology Nursing News.
She continued, “I knew I had a long way to go; I knew it was going to be difficult. But I had a positive attitude; I had it in my head that I would survive. I think that helps. I think a lot of people going through this need to stay positive. A lot of it is about mind over matter.”
In 2022, she lost her mother at the age of 75 to Maureen Wilson due to kidney and bladder cancer.

Paying tribute to her mother on Instagram, Camille described her as a “strong, beautiful warrior who fought to the end.”
