Armando Broja’s proposed transfer from Chelsea to Ipswich Town has stalled.
As Mail Sport reported earlier this week, Broja is set to move to Portman Road on a season-long loan deal, with a £30m purchase obligation if Ipswich avoid relegation from the Premier League.
However, there are concerns over Broja’s Achilles tendon and this has led to delays at Ipswich.
The deal could reportedly still go ahead if Chelsea agree to lower their demands for the 22-year-old Albanian striker.
Broja has already played for three different clubs in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has not been included in either of Chelsea’s two matchday squads this season
He has scored two goals in 26 top-flight appearances for Chelsea, plus six in 32 for Southampton, where he spent the 2021-22 season on loan.
Broja spent last season on loan at Fulham but failed to score in eight Premier League games for the Cottagers.
His career has been marred by injuries so far.
In December 2022, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and was sidelined for nine months.
Broja was out for a month at the end of 2023 due to a knee injury.
