Suspended referee David Coote reportedly branded Liverpool star Andy Robertson a ‘Scottish p****’ in an x-rated attack on the footballer.
Premier League referee Coote has been suspended by the PGMOL after a video emerged of him calling Klopp a ‘German ****’ and ‘bloody arrogant’. Coote also called Liverpool ‘s***’.
On Wednesday evening, new video surfaced of a man believed to be Coote snorting a white powder in a hotel room while operating last summer’s Euros.
The video was leaked to The Sun by a friend of Coote, who had reportedly reflected on Coote’s comments in the first leaked video and revealed his rant about Liverpool’s Robertson.
They told The sun: ‘The video in which he badmouthed Klopp did not surprise me at all. He said to me that there was no way Liverpool would win the Premier League.

‘I just wonder what kind of people run the Prem. He also described Andy Robertson as a ‘Scottish p****’.
‘He did say that the worst place to referee was Goodison Park because the young Scousers were shouting, shouting, swearing and shouting every name under the sun at him before the games had even started.
‘And he said he hated going to Bournemouth because it was so far away.’
A heated exchange between referee Coote, Robertson and Jurgen Klopp in 2020 could have led to the referee lashing out at Liverpool and their former boss.
Footage emerged of Coote clashing with Robertson and Klopp after Liverpool drew 1-1 with Burnley during lockdown in July 2020. A separate video also shows a brief altercation with Trent Alexander-Arnold.
In the first clip, Robertson launches a foul-mouthed tirade at Coote over a penalty decision, while Klopp also gestures and approaches the referee.
“You haven’t seen anything the whole game except (inaudible) in the last minute,” the Scotland defender said. ‘F*** me.

Coote (pictured topless in a separate video) has also been accused of making disparaging comments about Everton Football Club and the match between Coventry City and Oxford United.
“What’s the point of having you in the middle? What’s the point of having you? F*** me, honestly.”
Although the microphones clearly picked up Robertson’s words, it is not clear from the footage what Klopp is saying as he leans towards Coote and walks next to him.
On Wednesday, an eight-second clip reportedly showed the official using a rolled-up banknote to inhale a white powder.
If the video is authentic and features Coote, this is likely a damaging development for the 42-year-old.
Coote has already been suspended by refereeing body PGMOL, which launched an investigation after a separate video emerged of him calling manager Klopp a ‘German ****’ and Liverpool a ‘***’.
He was also withdrawn from officiating European matches by UEFA.
The latest video is said to have been recorded on July 6, the day after the Euro 2024 quarter-final between Portugal and France, in which Coote was a supporting VAR official and Michael Oliver was the referee.

It is also reported that the film was shot in a UEFA-funded hotel room. UEFA said on Wednesday evening in relation to Coote’s previous conduct: ‘The UEFA Refereeing Committee immediately suspended David Coote until further notice on 11 November when it became aware of his inappropriate behaviour.’
A PGMOL spokesperson said: “We are aware of the allegations and are taking them very seriously. David Coote remains suspended pending a full investigation.
“David’s well-being remains of the utmost importance to us and we are doing everything we can to provide him with the ongoing necessary support he needs during this period.
“We are not in a position to comment further at this stage.”
