REVEALED: The VERY extravagant food menu served at the Golden Globes 2025

The A-list attendees weren’t the only ones in the spotlight at this year’s Golden Globes; the food menu was also a topic of conversation across the tinsel town.

The annual film and television awards ceremony took place on January 5 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, kicking off the 2025 awards season.

This year the ceremony featured a Michelin star menu from the globally renowned Nobu Restaurants group.

The Japanese restaurant is also a celebrity hotspot and is visited by many of the A-listers during the 82nd annual show.

A sneak preview of the delicious menu – and the expensive plate – was shared on the website Golden Globes Instagram accounttested by food influencer Gianluca Conte.

The extravagant menu, named ‘Best Chef in the World’ by Conte, featured Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes, including a special Golden Globe Roll.

“The food is second to none,” Conte says in the clip published three weeks before the awards.

“The best chef in the world,” he added.

According to the Nobu menuthe delectable menu — not including a custom dish made for the Golden Globes — would cost just under $200.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa prepared the food for the 2025 awards ceremony, where celebrities were treated to a feast of:

  • Seaweed tacos with caviar
  • Yellowtail jalapenos
  • Sashimi salad with Matsuhisa dressing
  • Miso black cod
  • Tuna Nigiri
  • Tai Matsuhisa Nigiri with Nikiri Soya
  • Sushi loaded with tuna, rice and wasabi
  • Golden Globe Roll prepared with seaweed, rice, sesame seeds and king crab and topped with 24-carat gold flakes and caviar

Guests weren’t left thirsty either, thanks to the Golden Globes menu featuring a selection of premium champagne, wine and water.

Attendees were treated to Moët Impérial Brut, suggested retail price $50, Moët Chandon Rosé Impérial, suggested retail price $59.99, and Saratoga Spring Water, suggested retail price $3.99.

Nobu also catered last year’s star-studded event, marking the first time Japanese food was served at the ceremony.

For the 2025 awards, the team leaned “more on minimalism,” says Jitter Garcia, vice president of events at Dick Clark Productions. Hello.

Garcia added that they aimed to create a “really beautiful canvas for Chef Nobu’s specialty menu – that’s really the artistic centerpiece at the table.”

The tables, which seat 12 people, were decorated with a striking flower arrangement by Alice Lam from AL Basa.

Lam, who made her debut at the ceremony, told Hello that the opportunity “came as a surprise to me.”

The florist chose an elegant bouquet with Calla lilies, sweet pea and grass.

‘The aim of this arrangement was to design something that had movement and an energy of its own, even when the table is not turning. I think the flowers have movement and everyone at the table can be viewed 360 degrees,” Lam shared.

She continued: ‘We also wanted something that felt seamless with the table – everything on the table is edible, you have the drinks, you have the food, but that goes away and the flowers stay – so from every little angle on TV or in photos you see a little bit of flowers, a little bit of grass or something that is a natural element.”

The menu wasn’t the only prize guests enjoyed at the Golden Globes.

All guests received a specially composed bag with expensive goodies from the luxury lifestyle magazine

This year’s collection of party supplies has a value of $1 million and includes beauty products, fashion items, travel packages and experiences.
