Two cities in Florida came in at number one and two: Miami and Orlando.
Las Vegas reached third place, followed by Atlanta, Cincinnati, Tampa, Richmond and Minneapolis.
Cleveland and Anchorage rounded out the top 10 list.
Dr. Sarah Hill, a research psychologist and professor at Texas Christian University who specializes in dating, said it was “not surprising” that three Florida cities made the list.
'Known as a mecca for retirees, Florida is home to a number of older women with access to resources and time to pursue relationships with men purely for pleasure (no longer need to search to a provider for children),” she told DailyMail.com.
'It's also a place where people continue to invest in looking their best at all ages. With an abundance of beautiful older women who have the time and resources to invest in having fun, carefree relationships, this is a great place for men to delve into the female-led age gap.”
Likewise, Las Vegas and Atlanta are two places “where beauty, aesthetics and cosmetic surgery reign supreme, making these cities more likely to have an abundance of beautiful older women.”
Additionally, Dr. Hill in Sin City, along with Anchorage and Minneapolis, that these locations also have “male-biased gender ratios,” where there is an abundance of men compared to women.

“In these types of cities, men are likely to be more open to alternative relationships because their pool of partners will be more limited,” she explained.
Dr. Hill said people sought relationships with age gaps because they might not get the qualities they wanted from partners of the same age.
'I recently teamed up with Cougar Life and Ipsos to survey Americans to learn more about the benefits men and women get from age gap relationships. The results of the survey showed that women are most attracted to the open-mindedness (38 percent) and physical attractiveness (33 percent) of younger partners,” she told DailyMail.com.
And female users of Cougar Life – many of whom have experience dating younger men – report being attracted to the sexual stamina (80 percent), attractiveness (73 percent) and open-mindedness of their younger partners (69 percent). per cent) .'
On the other hand, the same study revealed that younger men were most attracted to older partners because of their emotional maturity and sexual experience.
“Seventy-seven percent of Cougar Life users and 54 percent of randomly selected American men report that older women's emotional maturity is one of the most attractive characteristics of older partners,” revealed Dr. Hill.
“Men also reported being attracted to the sexual experience and attention of older women in the bedroom, with 74 percent and 60 percent of male Cougar Life users respectively reporting this as an attraction to these relationships.”
Dr. Hill also emphasized that people with “ten, twenty or more years between them can experience real romantic relationships.”
'The fact that heterosexual women are expected by society to engage in relationships with men who are older and more established than them does not mean that they should – or will. Times have changed and so have women,” she said.
As for why people are more likely to work together during the colder months of the year than during the warmer months, Dr. Hill that having an 'engaging partner' can be good for mental health at a time of year that is often psychologically difficult. '
'Research shows that shorter days and colder temperatures can have a negative impact on mental health. “Having a partner to cuddle with when you're experiencing the stress of the season has been found to be an effective way to improve mental health, regardless of one's age,” she further explained.
Dr. Hill also noted that the latter part of the year was full of parties and celebrations that could make it more painful for singles than other times.
'It's also in our DNA! Before the days of heating and cooling systems, people had to find ways to keep themselves warm during the cold winter months. “Research suggests that the urge to captivate may have evolutionary roots, with people particularly drawn to close relationships as a way to stay warm during the winter months,” she added.
'Cuddling with others is a cheaper way to stay warm than doing it alone, making the winter ride together a smart way to save heat and energy.'
