Troubled boxing superstar Ryan Garcia has been labeled ‘the Kanye West of boxing’ by some on social media in recent months and the comparison is certainly apt.

Garcia, who will face WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney for his title in a highly anticipated grudge match in New York on April 20, has made headlines for his alarming activity on social media and in interviews.

Earlier this week, Garcia posted that Australian porn star Savannah Bond had accepted his marriage proposal after filing for divorce from his wife Andrea Celina in January after she gave birth to their second child.

He raised his concerns on March 3 when a disturbing video claiming Garcia was dead after his “throat was slit” was shared on his social media accounts, marking the first of a series of disturbing posts from the boxer over the next 72 o’clock.

Garcia also claimed he was raped by a relative at the age of two, has photos of actual aliens and has witnessed the rape of children after they were tied up in the forest by “the elites.”

He then continued his bizarre tirade by claiming an earthquake will “destroy” Hollywood and Las Vegas, while calling X-chief Elon Musk the “Antichrist.”

Kanye West, who also collaborated with a sometimes scantily clad Australian model, has become known in recent years for controversial comments and often unhinged behavior.

The rapper said he “loves” and “loves” Hitler, defended the Nazis and denied the Holocaust during an appearance on Alex Jones’ Infowars podcast in 2022, which many viewers described as a live mental breakdown.

Wearing a cloth mask to cover his entire face, West ranted, “I see good things about Hitler… every person has something valuable that he or she brought to the table, especially Hitler.”

He later said that the Germans “had a very good leader at one point,” and denied that Hitler had ordered the deaths of six million Jews.

‘He didn’t kill six million Jews. That’s just factually incorrect,” West said in what was by some measure his most anti-Semitic comments to date.

‘I’m not trying to shock. I love Hitler. The Holocaust is not what happened… Hitler has many redeeming qualities,” he said.

Even Jones, who is no stranger to controversy, appeared visibly uncomfortable at times during the three-hour broadcast.

During a recent interview, Garcia revealed that he asked the American rapper to join him in the ring for his fight with Haney, but the rapper declined due to comments the boxer made about Sean Love Combs (aka P. Diddy ).

In a lengthy rant about

Then on Monday, the boxer did a 180 and announced that West would be joining him for the Haney fight at the Barclays Center in New York City. Whether it happens or not is anyone’s guess.

Garcia enters April 20 with a record of 24-1 and 20 knockouts, with his lone loss coming against Gervonta Davis in April 2023. He has since bounced back with a win over Oscar Duarte in December.

Meanwhile, Haney is undefeated, with 31 wins and 15 knockouts. He is coming off two straight wins against George Kambosos Jr, followed by wins over Vasiliy Lomachenko and Regis Prograis.
