REVEALED: The latest NYC vandals ripping up posters of Israeli child hostages include a French financier, a Brooklyn magician and his teacher wife

The three latest New York City vandals who destroyed posters of Israeli child hostages can today be identified as a French financier, a Brooklyn magician and his teacher wife.

The trio were caught in separate incidents over the weekend tearing up posters of the missing children, who were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7.

They are among a broader group of pro-Palestinian activists who are taking on the task of removing the posters in New York and other Western cities.

Today, DailyMail.com can call them Marc Louvet, a 45-year-old financier who worked at the investment firm VanEck until his video surfaced this weekend, and Kelly and Noah Schaffer, a couple living in Brooklyn.

Louvet was filmed being confronted after removing the posters on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where he owns a $1.7 million apartment with his Middle Eastern girlfriend.

‘Where are the Palestinians? What about the Palestinians?’ he replied, squirming when a group of Jewish men asked why he had removed the kites.

VanEck announced today that Louvet has been placed on leave pending a legal investigation. The company said it expects to fire him soon.

“We have just been made aware of a video confronting an employee who has just put up posters of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

‘VanEck does not endorse such actions or statements in any way, nor do we support the actions of terrorists in any way. Such insinuations are offensive and harmful to the company and to us

‘Israeli colleagues, family and friends. “We are investigating the facts surrounding the incident and our legal options regarding the employee we have placed on immediate leave and expect to terminate,” the company said in a statement.

Louvet did not respond to DailyMail.com’s questions.

His now-deleted social media pages were devoid of any political posts, mostly filled with photos of romantic beach trips with his girlfriend.

In a separate video, Brooklyn “wizard” Noah Schaffer and his wife, city social worker and protester Kelly, were confronted after tearing down another set of posters.

When approached, Kelly remained silent, clutching the posters in her hand.

Her husband then began to laugh at the Jewish woman who had spoken to them and said, “We do not consent to your recording us.”

Noah previously worked as a ‘magician’ for A Taste of Magic, a dinner show in Manhattan. A Taste of Magic told DailyMail.com that he stopped working there a year ago. Kelly worked as a social worker for Urban Dove, a school program in New York City.

The pair – who live in a $900,000 apartment in Prospect Park South – then walked away.

Noah previously worked for A Taste of Magic, a magic and dinner show on the Upper West Side.

A producer for the show confirmed to DailyMail.com that it was Noah in the video. He added that Noah had not worked with the group in a year.

‘A Taste of Magic has no connection to him or his recent actions. He hasn’t worked here in over a year,” said the producer, who declined to comment further on his actions.

Kelly, his wife, previously worked as a social worker at Urban Dove, an urban school program in New York.

Kelly is listed among protesters on the website “antifa watch” after she was arrested in New Jersey during a protest outside the Bergen County Jail where she and others were demonstrating against ICE. It is unclear what the status of that case is

It is unclear what Noah does for work now. Urban Dove, the school program Kelly worked for, did not respond to DailyMail.com’s queries.

The pair have also deleted their social media and LinkedIn accounts.

They join a growing list of students and pro-Palestinian protesters who have been filmed removing posters of Jewish hostages in the city.

New York Mayor Eric Adams has been steadfast in his support of the Jewish community since the start of the conflict.

There have been a number of large, pro-Palestinian protests in New York City since violence erupted in the Middle East, but none have become particularly violent or unruly.

Among the demonstrations this weekend was one attended by non-binary And Just Like That star Sara Ramirez, who waved a transgender flag at the protest, despite the fact that Palestine and Hamas follow Sharia law that makes homosexuality illegal .
