The Australian Open store in Melbourne Park has everything for tennis enthusiasts, but it doesn’t come cheap: an official track jacket costs a whopping $419.
The expensive jacket, which is part of Ralph Lauren and the 2024 Australian Open commemorative capsule collection, appears to be selling very well online and is just one of many products on offer at eye-watering prices.
Ralph Lauren player towels from the Australian Open cost punters $79, while Australian Open-branded hats cost $50.
The Ralph Lauren AO caps retail for $99 and are already sold out in the online store.
AO brand water bottles, which made headlines two years ago for costing $99, are now going for $50 or less.

Food and drinks at the first major of the year are also as pricey as ever, with a beer in a 425ml plastic cup (schooner size) costing $14.50.
A glass of champagne costs $29.50, while a 600ml bottle of water costs $5.90.
A chili cheese dog at the Open costs $18.50, while a beef burger and fries costs $22.50 and a plain chocolate bar costs $6.
Ralph Lauren mentions on their website how proud they are to be involved with Melbourne Park this year – and given the sales they are making, it’s no wonder.
