Over the years, several films based on The Nativity have been released, including 2010's 'The Nativity', starring Peter Capaldi, and 2006's 'The Nativity Story', starring Oscar Isaac.
Now MailOnline ChatGPT has asked who would be in the dream cast for a new film adaptation.
The AI bot started by saying that the casting would “depend on the style and tone of the film, as well as the director's vision.”
However, based on popular actors as of the January 2022 knowledge update, ChatGPT ultimately opted for a star-studded cast.
According to the AI bot, Mary's leading female role should be Natalie Portman or Jessica Chastain.
Oscar Isaac appears to have impressed ChatGPT in his role as Joseph in the 2006 film, with the AI bot suggesting that he or Joaquin Phoenix would be the best Joseph.
And perhaps inspired by their previous roles of Lady Galadriel in Lord of The Rings and Voldemort in Harry Potter, ChatGPT suggests that the angel Gabriel should be played by Cate Blanchett, and Herod by Ralph Fiennes.
The three Wise Men – or Magicians – will also be three very familiar faces.
Gaspar, the king who brings incense, could be played by Javier Bardem, while Oscar winner Morgan Freeman could take on the role of Melchior, the king who brings the gift of gold.

Somewhat surprisingly, ChatGPT says that the role of Baby Jesus should be taken over by CGI, or a “young baby actor.”
And finally, having previously narrated the BBC's natural documentary series Killing for a Living, Anthony Hopkins was once again able to lend his voice as narrator.
“Of course, these are just suggestions, and the actual casting would depend on the filmmakers' preferences and the direction they want to take the film,” ChatGPT added.
The ranking comes shortly after MailOnline commissioned ChatGPT to prepare the perfect Christmas sandwich.
Unsurprisingly, the bot said roast turkey – carved from leftover Christmas turkey or freshly roasted – is the main ingredient in the sandwich.
Stuffing and cranberry sauce are next on the list.

And finally, the AI bot suggests a somewhat unusual element: cheese.
“Optional, but some people like to add a slice of brie or a mild cheese to balance the flavors,” it explained.
