These are the chaotic 911 calls made by a retired police chief’s Apple Watch after he was mowed down and another cyclist claimed the driver “did it on purpose.”
Audio of the 911 calls on August 14, originally obtained by TMZshows how the Apple watch Andreas Probst was wearing knew he had taken a hard fall and was unresponsive.
Probst, 64, died after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on a highway, which police say was done intentionally by Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16.
The audio shows the call being picked up by a dispatcher when the Apple Watch says, “The owner of this Apple Watch has had a hard fall and is not responding to his watch.”
The automated voice then rhymes off Probst’s coordinates as chaos and panic begin to ensue on the scene in the background.

Jesus Ayala, 18, was arrested hours after he allegedly drove into Probst and told officers he wouldn’t be locked up for long.

Police also believe Ayala and Keys were involved in another incident earlier that day in which a 72-year-old cyclist was mowed down.
That 911 call can also be heard in the new audio, with the unknown cyclist telling the call handler, “This car just ran me over on my bike.”
‘He came up behind me, I looked at him in the rear view mirror of my bike and I thought ‘oh shit’.
“I went as far to the right as I could, against the curb, he blew his horn and just kept blowing. He did it on purpose.
“My knee hurts, I just hope the police make a connection because he could have killed me.”
In addition to the two cyclists, police say the two teens stole three cars and committed a burglary within two hours.
Ayala faces 18 charges stemming from the incident, including murder, attempted murder, assault with use of a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of an accident, and numerous separate charges of theft and burglary.

Ayala told police, “Do you think this young person (expletive) is going to do something (expletive)? I bet I’ll be out in thirty days.”
He added, “It’s just ah, (expletive) ah, hit-and-run – slap on the wrist,” despite police not yet telling him about the accident, according to KLAS. His comments were captured on police body cameras.
Police had only arrested him for a warrant and obstructing a peace officer, but discovered the sick images of Probst being hit by a car on his phone.
They also found a second video of a Kia Soul crashing into another cyclist, with the footage apparently recorded by Ayala, who appeared to be the car’s passenger.

Keys was arrested last week and appeared with his co-defendants for their arraignment in Las Vegas court Thursday afternoon, wearing navy blue uniforms from the Clark County Detention Center.
Ayala, who has a large tattoo on his right cheek, said nothing during the hearing.
His mother said she “doesn’t know” if her son, who was 17 at the time, can be forgiven for his alleged crimes.

During an earlier court hearing, two of Keys’ family members were crying, and one of Ayala’s female relatives was also present.
She shielded her face and held back tears as she walked past reporters outside the courtroom, according to the Journal.
Ayala has a long criminal history in child welfare, according to 8 News Now, while Keys was placed in child protective services at the age of eight.
Keys’ mother was charged with five counts of child abuse in 2016 after police found her five children – aged between two and nine – home alone with no access to food, a knife left on the kitchen counter and the house in poor condition, according to reports the police. the canal.
