REVEALED: Pregnant teen Savannah Soto, 18, had a restraining order against boyfriend after he assaulted her last Christmas: Pair were found shot dead in car in Texas

The pregnant Texas mother who went missing days ago and has now been found dead with her boyfriend had a restraining order against him, court documents show.

Savannah Soto, 18, was beaten last Christmas Day by boyfriend Matthew Guerra, 22, and filed charges against him, resulting in a protective order.

“You are prohibited from intentionally, knowingly or recklessly communicating with Savannah Soto by telephone, writing or in person in a harmful or prejudicial manner,” the court records say.

The documents provide no details about the 2022 attack.

Soto disappeared on December 23, a week after she was due to give birth to a baby, and never showed up at the hospital where she was scheduled to be induced on Saturday.

Mariana Delgado, who claims to be the deceased teen's sister-in-law, posted on Facebook that Soto's body was found early this evening and that she was in “bad bad condition.”

Two bodies, believed to be Soto and Guerra, were found dead in a car in the parking lot of a San Antonio apartment building on Tuesday, police confirmed.

The pair had been dead for three or four days, the police chief said, adding that the crime scene was “stunning” and the deaths were being treated as homicides.

On Wednesday morning, police said both victims suffered a “gunshot wound.” The unborn child was also pronounced dead at the scene.

Soto's sister-in-law, Joanie Wasil, told the local news station KSAT that someone who spotted the car contacted her on Facebook, and the family went to the scene after alerting police.

Wasil told the station she saw Soto dead in the front passenger seat and Guerra dead in the backseat. She saw Soto's face “and didn't want to see it again.”

Guerra violated his parole for domestic violence just days after the assault on Christmas Day last year.

He was back in court in June after being charged with three new crimes: evading arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm and reckless driving.

“The suspect indicates that he is in the pre-contemplation phase and wishes to continue to engage in criminal activity,” the legal paperwork reads.

He also failed to seek legal employment or take battery counseling classes.

After Soto's disappearance, a neighbor of Soto and Guerra claimed they witnessed the boyfriend “fighting and hitting her almost every day.”

“I saw him hit her and kick her down while she was unconscious,” the unnamed person said, adding that “he kicked her body and face” and “she needed stitches.”

Despite a documented history of violence, Guerra's mother claimed online that her son was not abusive.

“I know my son and he wouldn't do anything to hurt her,” Karen Hernandez posted during the time the couple was missing.

“As a mother, I know that my son and his girlfriend were taken against their will because my son does what he does for money.”

Her boyfriend Matthew Guerra was also missing and some accused him of being involved. Guerra's mother denied the allegations against her son: 'I know my son and he wouldn't do anything to hurt her'

Hernandez did not elaborate on what exactly they did for money.

Neither Guerra nor Soto were strangers to the legal system.

Soto's family was recently involved in a courtroom brawl.

Soto's younger brother Ethan, 15, was shot and killed in what was believed to be revenge for a drug robbery in May 2022, according to San Antonio police.

Several months ago, members of the Soto family were seen accusing the man of Ethan's murder.

Victor Nathaneal Rivas took the stand in court then Members of the Soto family shot at him, leading to a huge brawl.

Footage shows at least four members jumping over a partition and throwing punches at Rivas, who allegedly challenged the group by gesturing at them.

An autopsy is underway to determine the exact cause of death for Soto and Guerra.
