REVEALED: NFL star DeVonta Smith’s modest $625,000 home despite signing a new $75m contract with the Eagles (…but he did buy a bigger pad for his mom!)

This is the modest home that DeVonta Smith still lives in despite his recent three-year, $75 million contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Smith agreed to a new deal in Philly last month that will keep him at Lincoln Financial Field through the 2028 season, while the Eagles have also picked up the fifth-year option for his 2025 season.

The wide receiver extension is said to also include a guaranteed $51 million.

Despite the wealth of his new contract, Smith still lives in this self-effacing five-bedroom home in Marlton, New Jersey, which he bought in July 2021 for almost $625,000.

The 3,288-square-foot property features an open floor plan, an open loft on the second floor and finished living space in the basement.

Before moving into that Marlton home, Smith spent $700,000 on a luxury apartment in Los Angeles for his mother Christina Smith-Sylve after being selected by the Eagles in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Fresh from signing a four-year, $20 million deal in Philly, the former Alabama star settled his mother in the 25-acre, four-bedroom property in Independence, which also features a stocked pond and screened back patio.

He shared a video on Instagram at the time showing him giving Christina the house and wrote, “To the world you are a mother, but to me you are the absolute world.”

Smith has 240 receptions for 3,178 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons with the Eagles. He was the 2020 Heisman Trophy winner and helped Alabama win two national championships in his four seasons with the Crimson Tide.

His extension continued a busy offseason for Philadelphia after they signed former Giants running back Saquon Barkley and linebackers Bryce Huff and Zack Baun.

These three free agent additions were part of a quick roster overhaul in the wake of the Eagles’ late-season collapse that dumped them from the playoffs in the Wild Card round.

Safety CJ Gardner-Johnson is back, a year after the team let him walk in free agency.

Wide receiver DeVante Parker will receive $4.69 million guaranteed in his one-year deal, and the Eagles have also signed offensive lineman Matt Hennessy.

The Eagles also agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million contract with former Tampa Bay linebacker Devin White.

Kicker Jake Elliott, two-time Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson and defenseman Brandon Graham also all signed deals that will keep them with the Eagles.

Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox retired, leaving the Eagles with just four players left from the 2017 Super Bowl season.
