REVEALED: New Orleans terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar’s chilling message on shotgun he tried to sell online weeks before attack

The US Army veteran who drove a truck into a crowd of New Year’s revelers in New Orleans’ French Quarter was trying to sell his guns and ammunition online just weeks before the fatal terror attack, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, a U.S. citizen born and raised in Texas, drove an electric vehicle from Houston to Louisiana to carry out the deadly attack that killed 14 people and injured at least 35.

Online listings on the firearms advertising website Armslist.com, viewed exclusively by DailyMail.com, show that the terrorist had attempted to sell three handguns and a shotgun online just weeks before the bloody massacre.

In a chilling description of an Escort BTS 12-gauge Bullpup Shotgun, on sale for $200, he even praised the weapon as “Great for sending intruders to hell!”

Federal investigators have recovered a handgun and an AR-style rifle after a shootout with police that left the suspect dead. It is unclear whether the recovered weapons were also for sale.

Jabbar had previously claimed he was struggling for money after his divorce and had listed the weapons between November 4 and December 13.

A number associated with Jabbar was advertised on the Armslist.com listings, which showed his location as Houston, Texas.

He also sold a 2.25 Ruger SP101 with ammo, holster and tritium location for $690, along with a Keltec P50 with ammo for $625 and a CZ-52 pistol and 700 rounds for $399.

The listing for the CZ-52 pistol stated that the weapon had been in a box for “almost twenty years” but had “had no failures or jams, so the weapon and ammo are both good.”

Jabbar’s Ruger revolver had 50 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense pockets – which are designed to expand within the target to deal maximum damage.

He also used the same username ‘shamjabbar’ to list a pair of military combat boots on eBay.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, an eBay spokesperson said: ‘While we cannot comment on the activities of individual users, we are cooperating with law enforcement authorities and working closely with them to assist in their investigations.’

The account appears to have now been deleted.

This comes after the FBI raided several homes in multiple states and previously said they believe others were also “responsible” for the attack. Officials have now said they believe it was a lone wolf attack.

Investigators have described the incident as a “malicious act” and are looking into the theory that he rented a nearby property on Airbnb in New Orleans’ St. Roch neighborhood for his base before carrying out the attack.

Exclusive photos from DailyMail.com show the moment the FBI removed bomb-making materials from the two-bedroom, two-bathroom property near the French Quarter.

A total containment vessel was removed from the building around 8 p.m. on New Year’s Day, hours after authorities evacuated residents from the area.

The area is mainly rented out to tourists who travel to the area for the holiday period and now have no place to stay.

The FBI was joined by special agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and Homeland Security.

Authorities confirmed Thursday that they had obtained three phones and two laptops from the address Jabbar rented and were searching his digital footprint.

The FBI has reportedly seized only one of the three cellphones so far, as it was revealed that he had rented the truck until January 4.

He left five sickening videos explaining why he committed the atrocities on his now-deleted Facebook page before the attack, between 1.29am and 3.02am on January 1.

Deputy Assistant Christopher Raia of the agency’s Counterterrorism Division said at a news conference that Jabbar: “originally intended to harm his family and friends, but was concerned that headlines would not focus on the ‘war between the faithful and the disbelievers’.’

Raia added: “He stated that he joined ISIS before this summer. He also made a will.”

Officials in New Orleans added that they do not believe the terrorist attack on the city on New Year’s Day was related to a suspected bombing in Las Vegas.

Tesla Cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger is a married, long-serving Green Beret when he carried out the attack outside Donald Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas.

Livelsberger, 37, was identified by law enforcement sources as the bomber in Wednesday’s attack, which injured seven.

The electric vehicle exploded about 15 seconds after the driver pulled up to the hotel entrance.
