Revealed: Mark Goldbridge’s STAGGERING earnings for 2023, after controversial Man United YouTuber was blamed for causing ‘problems’ at Old Trafford last year

Controversial Manchester United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge’s staggering earnings for 2023 have been revealed.

Goldbridge, 45, whose real name is Brent Di Cesare, is a former Nottingham Forest fan but has risen to social media fame in recent years for his reporting on United.

During his United viewing sessions before each match, he has had a number of viral moments, including his X-rated rant when the Red Devils lost to Chelsea in April.

But United’s misfortune appears to have turned out well for Goldbridge, who is now the sole director of five companies, of which The United Stand Limited is the oldest.

According to information published on Companies House, the five companies had a combined £4,039,957 in the bank at the end of 2023, up £1.2 million on a year earlier.

United struggled on the pitch last year, leading to fierce criticism of the club from Goldbridge

The companies are not big enough to demand full, audited accounts be published, but Goldbridge still appears to have had an excellent 2023 while United struggled on the field.

Goldbridge’s outspoken views have angered some United fans and former players, with former Red Devils defender Paul Parker hitting out at the YouTuber last October for causing “trouble”.

Parker told BonusCodeBets: ‘I don’t like what Mark Goldbridge is doing.

“It’s a problem. Everyone has to make a living, but you have to be very, very thick-skinned to make money from something you don’t like.

“He has no connection to Man United, he’s a Nottingham Forest fan. It’s an incredible skill to do that, really… to make money off the back of something you don’t like.

“He’s attacking the club, the manager and the owners of a football club that you don’t even like. He has no inner connection to the club and it’s a scary but unbelievable feeling to be so involved in a club that you don’t support.”

Goldbridge was embroiled in further controversy in 2024 when he fought back against Marcus Rashford after the winger claimed he had been ‘slandered for months’ on social media.

Some United fans blamed Goldbridge after he criticised Rashford’s performances last season, but he defended himself in an online video, telling his YouTube followers on The United Stand: ‘In life, it’s not all red and green, it’s everything in between. And sometimes abuse happens to Marcus Rashford. The problem here is that criticism is not abuse.

‘Saying you want to dump him, saying you want to sell him… it’s not abuse to criticize someone for their performance, saying they look like they can’t be shit, saying they’re paid too much, saying they want to get dumped. That’s not abuse.

‘What is abuse is saying, “F*** off Rashford”, or “Rashford is faking an injury”, calling him “Trashford” and things like that. There are different levels of abuse, but that is unwarranted, unfair and not okay.

‘I think if you’re on a football pitch and Rashford misses a chance and you think, “Oh, screw you Rashford”, that’s not an insult, it’s just direct passion.’

Alejandro Garnacho also found himself in hot water after liking one of Goldbridge’s X-posts in April, with the YouTuber accusing Erik ten Hag of ‘throwing a 19-year-old under the bus’ for taking him out at half-time against Bournemouth.

Garnacho was reprimanded for his behaviour, but Ten Hag was happy to put the incident behind him after the striker apologised.

Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund’s decision to give an interview to The United Stand in February drew widespread criticism, with Mail Sport exclusively revealing that Goldbridge had received death threats following the incident.

It was reported that some United players were furious with Hojlund for giving an interview to the controversial fan channel, but the Danish striker dismissed it as ‘fake news’.
