REVEALED: ‘Impartial’ DOJ Official Promoted Anti-Trump Social Media Posts Urging Republicans to ‘Fuck Yourself and Die’ While Delving into How Nancy Pelosi Eats Slim Jims
An attorney with the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General is facing questions after a social media account with her name captioned posts blasting President Donald Trump and Republicans and praising Democrats.
Attorneys for the inspector general are traditionally level-headed, impartial professionals, but a report from The Federalist revealed blatantly partisan social media activity and donations from Deborah Zerwitz, one of the highest paid attorneys in the building.
Zerwitz, a former counsel to President Barack Obama’s former Assistant Attorney General Leslie Caldwell, is currently working to take down former DOJ officials who served under Attorney General Bill Barr and opened an investigation into nursing home deaths during the coronavirus pandemic.
However, her intentions may not be entirely apolitical.
According to the report, Zerwitz has made 35 separate political donations to Democrats since 2007, including the Biden campaign.
DailyMail.com investigated a social media account on X with Zerwitz’s name on it, which was created in 2019 and has a long history of liking posts attacking Trump and Republicans.
The account named Zerwitz has not posted any content on X, but a list of 1,340 likes on the account illustrates a profile of a deeply upset partisan Democrat after President Trump took office.
Some posts “liked” by the accounts with her name on them called on Americans to “remove Donald Trump” and “remove his Republican enablers – at every level of government.”
Other posts celebrated Biden’s 2020 victory over Trump and praised Biden’s political appointees. Other likes included posts praising New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Hillary Clinton and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and condemning Senate Republicans such as Chuck Grassley, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson, John Cornyn and Ted Cruz.
Other social media likes included posts attacking Trump political appointees such as Attorney General Bill Barr, including one that read, “No career prosecutor at DOJ will miss Bill Barr.”
She also liked a post by Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin criticizing Attorney General Bill Barr and demanding that lawyers “walk out en masse” in protest of his actions while in office.

One post endorsed by Zerwitz referred to “Trump and his racist homophobic cult members” protesting their music choices during the campaign.
Posts endorsed by Zerwitz include notes describing Hakeem Jeffries as “the Republican Party’s worst nightmare” and praising the way Pelosi eats a Slim Jim.
“Nancy Pelosi unwrapping and eating a Slim Jim with her teeth while she’s on the phone dealing with the insurrection is the worst multitasking I’ve ever seen,” read one post endorsed by Zerwitz.

Zerwitz also liked posts about Kamala Harris, including one that praised the way she walked down an airplane staircase.
One post that Zerwitz liked featured a pre-debate meme shared by late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, portraying Mike Pence as the cannibal Hannibal Lector and Harris as actress Jodie Foster in the film Silence of the Lambs.
Surprisingly, Zerwitz also endorses reports about the Hatch Act, showing that she had some knowledge of proper public activities for a government lawyer, even while exhibiting partisan behavior.
Zerwitz endorsed a post by Elizabeth Warren urging voters to “pack Donald Trump” and cleanse the government of his supporters.
“We must remove his Republican enablers from office – at every level of government,” Warren added.
Other messages believed to refer to Trump were more direct.
“I hate him,” read one message captioned by Zerwitz.
She also endorsed a post telling Trump’s lawyers to “go fuck yourself and die.”
“If it walks like a bunch of motherfuckers and it talks like a bunch of motherfuckers, it’s a bunch of motherfuckers,” read another post she captioned.
Zerwitz did not respond to a request for comment.
The reports of partisan activity by Justice Department lawyers raised concerns among the House Oversight Committee, as Chairman James Comer vowed to investigate.
“We cannot allow unelected bureaucrats to weaponize their positions in government without consequences,” he said in a statement to DailyMail.com.
“The House Oversight Committee will continue to conduct oversight to ensure that the inspectors general and their staff operate in an impartial manner to root out waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government.”
