And now it has been revealed that Joey, who has 1.8 million followers on Instagram, will receive the same income as the other Love Islanders and has not been paid anything extra for appearing on the ITV dating show.

The contestants usually receive around £375 a week for appearing on the show to cover their rent and bills at home while they are away, and Joey will receive the same.

At 33, he is the oldest contestant in the line-up, but sources close to the TV personality have revealed he doesn’t ‘need’ the fame and is purely in the villa to find love.
