The players, as reported by the Telegraphare based on the points per match they have won in matches they have played in since the start of last season.
Eligible players are those who have played a minimum of 35 games in total in that time, with the only exceptions being promoted sides Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town.
One of the biggest surprises comes at Manchester City, where despite Rodri having an unbeaten run stretching over a full calendar year, it is actually Jack Grealish (2.55) who has the best points per game of anyone in the history. the Eredivisie.
The biggest contributing factor to this is that Grealish has an 81 percent win record when playing for Man City, compared to Rodri’s 75. However, the Spaniard has made 61 appearances since the start of last season, while Grealish has made 42.

Harry Maguire has a higher record in points per match at 2.19, although he is ineligible as he has made three fewer appearances than the required 35
Arsenal’s player with the highest points-per-game ratio is William Saliba, who is averaging 2.36 points from his 55 games since the start of last season.
Liverpool’s most valuable player is Diogo Jota, who has scored 2.15 points per game. The Reds lost just five of the 41 Premier League games he played, giving him the edge over Mohamed Salah.
Jota is currently out with an injury and his return, as these figures show, could be crucial for the Reds in their title battle with Arsenal and Manchester City.
Chelsea’s most valuable player is Conor Gallagher, but his 1.34 points per game shows why the Blues finished in the bottom half of the table last season and, as things stand, remain outside the top 10.

Alex Moreno has averaged 1.83 points per game since arriving at Villa Park last season, while Tottenham’s Cristian Romero was just ahead on 1.84.
