Revealed: Erling Haaland’s fiery two-word message to Mikel Arteta at full time after Man City’s comeback draw with Arsenal

Erling Haaland gave Mikel Arteta a two-word command in the closing stages of Manchester City’s breathtaking 2-2 comeback against Arsenal on Sunday.

The City striker was in a stormy mood at the Etihad Stadium, throwing the ball at Gabriel’s head after John Stones’ closing-minute equaliser and appearing to say ‘who the f*** are you?’ to Arsenal’s 17-year-old substitute Myles Lewis-Skelly.

City looked in dire straits when David Raya claimed the ball after a corner and then played it wide for Kai Havertz to chase after.

But eight minutes into injury time, John Stones took advantage of a deflection to send the home fans into hysterics, leaving City top of the Premier League.

After the match, Haaland continued to be mischievous, walking up to Arsenal manager Arteta and telling him to “stay humble”, smacking the Spaniard on the shoulder.

The rivalry between City and Arsenal has intensified over the past two seasons due to their neck-and-neck race for the Premier League title.

Haaland is clearly convinced that four-time title winner City are still the best team despite Arsenal nearly knocking them out.

The Norwegian received a beautiful through ball from Savinho on Sunday, just nine minutes into the last match, and easily passed David Raya.

However, Arsenal did not sit back and wait.

Riccardo Calafiori scored a beautiful curling ball to level the score and Gabriel headed home the goal in first-half injury time to give the Gunners a lead at half-time, but Leandro Trossard was sent off just before half-time.
