England have been ranked as the most valuable team at this summer’s European Championships.

Gareth Southgate’s side suffered a demoralizing setback in their quest for their first major honor in more than half a century when they were defeated by Iceland in their final warm-up on Friday.

However, despite patchy form of late, the group represents one of the most talented groups ever seen in an England squad and the statistics seem to bear this out.

With the likes of Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka at his disposal, Southgate has a group of players with a higher collective value than both defending champions Italy and pre-tournament favorites France.

Across their 26-man squad, England are estimated to have a total worth of over £1.2 billion.
