REVEALED: Anthony Joshua’s company banks enormous earnings after the British heavyweight goes undefeated in 2023 – as questions circle over who he fights next
Anthony Joshua’s company, Sparta Promotions Limited, has benefited from equity growth over the past year after the British heavyweight enjoyed a lucrative 2023.
The 34-year-old boxer fought three times during the calendar year, defeating Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin to bounce back from back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022.
According to Forbes, Joshua, who has a whopping 16.9 million followers on Instagram and is one of the most famous athletes in the world, was ranked 28th among the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2023.
Joshua, the outlet, currently has a net worth of around £41 million ($53 million) and has continued to grow his massive fortune in 2024 by saving another £39 million for his fight against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
That happened even before he entered the ring, where he would deliver an emphatic second-round knockout to defeat the former UFC heavyweight champion.

In addition, amid all its sponsorship deals, partnerships and business activities, Sparta Promotions has once again grown in equity, with the value of the company increasing to £129 million.
That’s an increase of almost £30m on the stock’s 2022 valuation, with the former heavyweight champion paying almost £7m in tax last year.
“When I first started, the goal was to become a multi-millionaire,” he said GQ in 2017.
‘But now there are ordinary people, grandmothers and grandfathers, who are worth millions just because of house prices. So the new mindset is that I must be a billionaire.
‘Being a millionaire is good, but you have to raise the bar. If I make $10 million from my next fight, my next target should be making ten times that amount. And if I reach between 100 and 150 million euros, why wouldn’t I go for that billion? I know self-made billionaires. It’s hard, but it’s possible.’
