The gang – Resident Evil heroes Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield, and Leon S. Kennedy – are all present in the Resident Evil movie to end all Resident Evil movies. Capcom’s next computer-animated adventure set in the world of survival horror, Resident Evil: Island of Deathwill see the quintet of zombie slayers head to Alcatraz to discover and battle a new threat, which may just be… zombie sharks.
The story of Resident Evil: Island of Death to focus on Resident Evil 4 star Leon S. Kennedy’s mission to save Dr. Antonio Taylor from sexy kidnappers, and BSAA agent Chris Redfield investigates a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where a new virus strain appears to be turning humans into monsters. Also, there is at least one whale that appears to be infected by the T-virus and what appears to be a new species of aquatic Lickers. Maybe there’s even a zombie octopus?!
Anyway, former STARS members Rebecca Chambers and Jill Valentine are also in the running, as is Claire Redfield, who represents human rights group TerraSave on the ultimate Resident Evil squad. Resident Evil: Island of Death is a direct sequel to the 2017 animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta. Dead Island hits theaters in Japan in July.
