House Oversight Republicans are demanding to know if Hunter Biden was living in President Biden’s home in Wilmington and doing “international business deals” while there were classified files in the garage.

The oversight chairman, Rep. James Comer, noted that documents on file with his committee show that the same address where the documents were found was listed on Hunter Biden’s driver’s license in 2018.

Emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop he left at a computer repair shop show he listed his father’s Wilmington address as his own residence for his credit card and Apple account in 2018 and 2019, Fox News he pointed

“The committee is concerned that President Biden stored classified documents at the same location where his son resided while participating in international trade agreements with adversaries of the United States,” Comer wrote in a letter to White House counsel Stuart Delery.

Comer requested information on all classified documents recovered by Biden aides anywhere and complete lists of everyone who searched for documents and all places they had been searched. She also requested all communications between the White House and the Department of Justice and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

On Thursday, the White House confirmed that a second trove of classified documents was found at the president’s private residence in Wilmington, Delaware.

“The committee is concerned that President Biden stored classified documents in the same location where his son resided while he was involved in international trade agreements with adversaries of the United States,” Rep. James Comer wrote in a letter to White House counsel Stuart Delery. .

Comer noted that documents on file with his committee show that the same address where the documents were found was listed on Hunter Biden’s driver’s license in 2018.

Biden previously admitted that the documents were in his garage and made no accusations of foul play.

“So the documents were in a locked garage?” Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked the president earlier.

‘Yes, along with my corvette,’ he replied.

President Biden’s lawyers conducted a search of his Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach homes after news broke this week that classified Obama White House documents were found in the office of Biden’s think tank in Washington, D.C. The 2nd of November.

Democrats have largely avoided direct criticism of Biden over the documents. Rep. Adam Schiff, former president of Intel, said any time classified documents are found where they shouldn’t be, it’s cause for “concern.”

Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries told reporters Thursday: “I have full faith and credit in President Biden.”

“I think he’s doing everything he can to take the appropriate steps to determine what happened and how to move forward responsibly,” Jeffries continued. “And I trust that he will continue to do so.”

The White House has said the first trove of documents was found days before the midterm elections while clearing out office space and immediately turned over to the National Archives.

Biden said he was “shocked” to learn of the initial documents and was unaware of their contents.

“I was informed of this discovery and I was surprised to learn that there were government records that were brought to that office,” Biden added. But I don’t know what’s in the documents. My lawyers have not suggested that I ask what documents they were.
