Republica fans went wild as the ’90s band looked like they hadn’t aged a day as they delivered a lively comeback performance.
The alternative rock group performed their famous hit Ready To Go on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning, wowing viewers with the throwback tune.
Singer Saffron Sprackling, 55, performed with enthusiasm as she looked exactly the same as she did 26 years ago when the band first released the hit.
She had the same iconic bob haircut with short bangs and red highlights.
The band was especially popular between 1996 and 1999 and was known for releasing singles such as Ready To Go and Drop Dead Gorgeous.

They went on a hiatus in 2001 before reuniting in 2008.
Viewers were taken back to their youth by the entertaining performance, with one saying: ‘I’m 18 and I love this!’
Another commented on Saffron’s very youthful appearance: ‘It had been almost thirty years since Republica was in the charts. She looks good.’
Speaking to hosts Cat Deeley and Craig Doyle before the performance, Saffron shed light on signing with RCA America after releasing their self-titled debut album.
She said: ‘We were overwhelmed, we were an unknown band.
“We got the call from the head of RCA America to go there because he knew when I walked through the door it could change my life and they said yes to everything!”
‘We ended up traveling through every state in America.’
The band now consists of Saffron on vocals, Tim Dorney on keyboard and Johnny Male on guitar and they are releasing a new single called New York.
Republica released their debut record in 1996 and their second Speed Ballads followed in 1998.

However, their record label Deconstruction Records folded shortly after its release and was never released in the United States.
In 2020, Saffron made a big change from her days as a rock star, working as a mental health and social care officer and working 12-hour night shifts as a frontline key worker during the Covid pandemic.
“No matter how busy I am, I have to find time for my music,” she said The mirror earlier. ‘It’s essential for my mental health and is everything to me.’
She continued: ‘Around the time of our second album we got caught up in record company politics that we had no control over and so there’s a bit of a sense of unfinished business, but those times in the ’90s especially bring back wonderful memories. ‘
