Renee Rapp BLASTS Jo Koy for ‘making a bunch of jokes about women’ while hosting the Golden Globe Awards

Reneé Rapp set comedian Jo Koy on fire with his unexciting performance at the 81st Golden Globe Awards, which still managed to attract 9.4 million viewers on Sunday.

While appearing on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna on Monday, the 24-year-old Mean Girls star was asked what trends were “out” and she responded to TikTok: ‘The guy who made a bunch of jokes about women at the Golden Globes last night.’

In the comments of the post, fans giddily praised Reneé for “keeping it real” by criticizing the 52-year-old Filipino-American prankster’s “sexist jokes.”

Rapp was joined at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan on Monday by her Mean Girl castmates Angourie Rice, Avantika and Bebe Wood, as well as Spice Girl Mel B.

The bisexual blonde has been hard at work promoting her role as Regina George in Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr.’s film adaptation of the Broadway musical Mean Girls, which opens in U.S. theaters on Friday and in the U.K. on Jan. 17 theaters.

The 112-minute remake also stars Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Jon Hamm, Auli’i Cravalho, Christopher Briney, Jenna Fischer, Ashley Park and Busy Philipps.

Reneé made her Broadway debut at age 19 in Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin’s musical, based on Mark Waters’ 2004 hit film, which was originally adapted from Rosalind Wiseman’s 2002 book Queen Bees and Wannabes.

Rapp will next perform on the Jan. 20 episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live before kicking off her 17-date Snow Hard Feelings Tour in Paris on Feb. 13.
