And Renee Bargh was reunited with her suspected ex-beau on Monday.
The Channel 9 host interviewed the A-lister at the Australian premiere of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One at the International Convention Center in Sydney.
Renee, 36, has had a very successful career. She moved back to Australia three years ago after spending ten years working for the American entertainment show Extra as a red carpet correspondent.
In this position, the journalist regularly rubbed the shoulders of the world’s biggest stars, including Cruise.

Three years ago, Renee broke her silence over rumors that she once dated Nicole Kidman’s ex-husband.
In July 2018, Woman’s Day magazine reported that Renee was discreetly dating the Mission: Impossible star after they “hit it off” at a movie premiere in Paris.
But the journalist dismissed the claims two years later, telling The Kyle and Jackie O Show that the speculation was “ridiculous” and untrue.
“We just had some great interviews on a red carpet, I think in Paris, and then someone just wrote that article… it came out of nowhere,” she said.

Renee also set the record straight on Tom’s height, as mystery has surrounded his stature for years, as the high-profile Scientologist is believed to sometimes wear elevated shoes to appear taller.
She revealed that she is 5ft 7in tall and that Tom was “taller than me” when I interviewed him. Everyone was talking about that.”
Tom celebrated his 61st birthday on Monday at the Sydney premiere of Mission Impossible.
Speak against Channel 9 on the red carpet, the Hollywood star said he was excited to celebrate his birthday Down Under with fans.
‘It’s wonderful to be here again. What a beautiful, beautiful city this is,’ he said.
“I’ve spent so much time here, so it’s great to be back.”

The Vanilla Sky actor was met by many fans who held posters wishing him a happy birthday as he walked the red carpet.
Tom arrived at the premiere two hours early to make sure he met every fan and took photos.
Director Chrisopher McQuarrie surprised Tom with a birthday cake after walking the red carpet.
His co-star Simon Pegg rolled out the cake, a large black square with the film’s title and a falling motorcycle in fondant.
Tom also took to Twitter to share a series of photos from the evening, writing, “It was amazing spending my birthday with fans today. Thanks for coming to the premiere!’

The heartbreaking, fast-paced clip showed plenty of action sequences featuring the Hollywood actor, whose movie Top Gun: Maverick was a huge summer hit of 2022.
He stars alongside Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell and fan favorite cast member Simon Pegg.
This is Tom’s seventh Mission: Impossible movie and will hit Australian cinemas on July 8.
