Ren-iz Shrine is a shrine within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Hyrule field region.

Our guide will help you find the location of the Ren-iz Shrine, solve the puzzles and guide you through the “Jump the Gaps” puzzle to collect the chest and Light of blessing.

When you’re done, our shrine locations page or interactive Hyrule map can lead you to something else.

Ren-iz Shrine location

Ren-iz Shrine is located in the Hyrule Field region. The exact location is (0756, 0823, 0082).

You’ll find Ren-iz Shrine in a huge, hollowed-out tree stump at the top Crenel hills. It is about half way between the Lookout Landing and Eldin Canyon Skyview Towers. However, neither is exactly close and there are no Sky Islands nearby. From the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower, you’ll need just over two full endurance rings to paraglide there, so you’re better off arriving on horseback (Woodland Stable isn’t too far away) or on foot.

Ren-iz Shrine walkthrough

Ren-iz Shrine is a relatively fast-paced shrine where you can play around building ramps to launch balls into baskets.

1. As you enter the Ren-iz Shrine, you’ll see a long ski-jump-like ramp on your left, a crystal that activates a ball to roll down that ramp in front of you, and a basket across a wide opening on your right. Just beyond the crystal you will see a short wall (these are apparently called pony walls).

2. Beyond that is a metal panel on the ground. Usage Ultra convenient to pick it up and carry it back to the pony wall.

3. Position the metal panel so that the left end engages the lip in the floor and the right end rests on the pony wall.

4. Hit the crystal with a weapon or arrow to activate the ball. It will hit your ramp and fall into its target on the right. That opens the gate to the next room.

5. The setup in the second room is almost identical, but this time there is no pony wall. There are also two metal panels – one long and one square – on the floor. When you enter, you’ll see a chest to your right, but you can’t reach it yet.

6. Attach the panels end-to-end together with Ultrahand to make a bridge yourself. Place it so that you can reach the chest. Cross your bridge and open the chest for one mighty zonaite shield.

7. Back on the ground floor, loosen the panels.

8. Turn the square panel at a 90° angle and attach it to the long panel in one L form.

9. Position your L to make a slope just like you did in the first room – you need to rotate it to be oriented like ¬.

10. Hit the crystal to launch the ball. This may take a few tries. If the square panel is attached to the end or face of the longer one, it seems to make a bit of a difference in the trajectory of the ball – you want it on the face.

11. When the last gate opens, go through to pick you up Light of blessing.
