Rege-Jean Page suffered a very uncomfortable trip outside the star-studded Charles Finch x Chanel pre-BAFTA dinner in London on Saturday.

The 34-year-old Bridgerton star suffered a major fall as he arrived at the lavish event at 5 Hertford Street ahead of Sunday’s awards ceremony.

Though rumored to be in the running for James Bond, he didn’t quite master 007’s smooth entrance as he went flying after falling off the pavement.

He was seen arriving at the glitzy event with his girlfriend Emily Brown and entered behind her as they prepared to mingle with the stars.

But unknown to his girlfriend, who seemed to keep walking as she chatted with him, Rege fell off the side of the pavement.

The actor looked alarmed as he seemed unable to save himself from the nasty fall and landed firmly on his butt.

However, he seemed to see the funny side when he was seen laughing before standing up and looking at the camera with wide eyes.

After recovering from her fun stumble, Rege was seen posing for some much fancier shots inside the lavish event.

She cut a dashing figure in a blush pink suit and white T-shirt, which she teamed with a pair of white slip-on loafers.

His girlfriend Emily, with whom he keeps his affair a secret, looked glamorous in a white strappy dress covered in white floral embellishments.

The couple were first seen in public in February 2021 outside the London home they share together and have gone from strength to strength ever since.

Emily works as a freelance writer on commissions from firms like Nike, Converse and Uber.

His latest appearance comes after Rege downplayed the chance to play James Bond, following Daniel Craig’s exit from the role after No Time To Die in 2022.
