Reese Witherspoon opened up about her divorce from Jim Toth in a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

As the magazine’s August 2023 cover star, the 47-year-old The Morning Show actress shared, “It’s a vulnerable time for me.”

The blonde beauty commented, “To be able to talk directly to people about what’s going on in my life and just share it the way I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not letting someone else decide what happens.’

In the profile, which was published on Wednesday, July 12, she said: ‘Of course there is speculation, but that is beyond my control. All I can do is be my most honest, open-hearted self and be vulnerable.”

It comes months after the Sweet Home Alabama sensation and Toth, 52, announced their separation in a joint statement on social media.

In Bazaar’s Performance Issue, Witherspoon explained how she felt during the divorce proceedings.

“It feels good,” she said, adding, “I think about how many other people are going through this experience. I don’t feel isolated at all. I feel very connected.’
