The rom-com will revolve around Witherspoon getting caught up in a love triangle with Ashton Kutcher and Jesse Williams after declaring her love life a “ghost town.”
The story specifically will see her character, Debbie, swapping lives with her best friend Peter (Kutcher) and making the most of her week off in New York City as she embarks on a steamy romance with a handsome man named Theo (Williams).
The Oscar winner’s own Hello Sunshine produced the film, as well as the recent romantic comedy Something From Tiffany’s for Amazon, starring Zoey Deutch.
Reese founded her production company Hello Sunshine in 2016 to champion female-led stories in Hollywood.
