Reese Witherspoon was spotted alone on a shopping trip in the Santa Monica neighborhood of Los Angeles on Thursday.
The Oscar-winning actress looked ready for the fall weather as she wore a comfy brown teddy bear cardigan.
The Draper James founder stuck to the theme for her ensemble, adding a long brown woven bag with a chain strap and brown strappy sandals with a modest two-inch heel.
At one point, the 48-year-old producer, who is in a relationship with 56-year-old German private equity financier Olivier Haarmann, passed a CP Shades store and a pastry shop on Montana Avenue.
The appearance comes just two weeks before the Emmy Awards, where the beauty will face off against her The Morning Show co-star Jennifer Aniston, both nominated in the same acting category.

The 76th Annual Emmy Awards will air live on ABC from the Peacock Theater on September 15.
The ladies fall into the same category: Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Jennifer, 55, plays Alex Levy, while Reese plays Bradley Jackson in the series about the culture behind a network morning news program.
Also in this category are Carrie Coon for The Gilded Age, Maya Erskine for Mr & Mrs Smith, Ana Sawai for Shogun and Imelda Staunton for The Crown.
It is a highly competitive category as all of the nominees receive critical acclaim and have been featured in popular series.
The ladies have been nominated for Emmys several times in the past.
Jennifer was nominated in the same category for the same show in 2020. In 2022, she won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Rachel Green on Friends.
Rese was nominated in the same category in 2022 for The Morning Show. In 2017, she won an Emmy for her production of Big Little Lies.
The Morning Show’s 2024 Emmy nominations also include Best Drama Series, four women in Best Supporting Actress (Nicole Beharie, Greta Lee, Karen Pittman and Holland Taylor), two nominations for Best Supporting Actor (Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass), a nomination for Best Guest Actress (Marcia Gay Harden) and Best Director (Mimi Leder).

In addition to the brown cardigan, bag and shoes, she added a touch of dark blue in the form of her T-shirt and baggy jeans.
Reese wore her flaxen hair down in a flirty style while lightly applying her earthy makeup. And she wore a long necklace with a pendant.
Reese’s next film is Mrs. Claus, which she will co-direct with Jennifer Garner and Lauren Neustadter.
They are producing for Hello Sunshine and Leah McKendrick is writing the script.
Sources told Deadline that Witherspoon provided the original idea for the upcoming film.

This comes after Witherspoon thanked her “amazing” mother for the support she always gave her as she celebrated her birthday.
The Walk the Line actress posted a snap of herself smiling next to her beaming mother Betty on Instagram on Sunday, along with a heartwarming tribute.
She wrote in a caption: “Happy birthday to the most amazing mom in the world! You bring so much sunshine into my life. (Star emojis.) Thank you for always believing in me and cheering me on. I love you! (Pink heart emoji.)”
The actress shared photos of her and Betty taken at restaurants on two separate occasions. In the first photo, the star wore a headband that read “It’s My Birthday.”

It was a photo from her own party in March, when she turned 48. In another photo, the couple posed laughing in a cafe.
Reese also shared the post to her Instagram Stories, which featured a sparkling purple animation that read “Happy Birthday” along with a hat and cake.
The actress also paid tribute to Betty in a Mother’s Day post in May.
Posting a series of snaps of her mother with her children and other family members, Reese wrote in the caption, “Every day with you is a gift @grandma_busybetty (pink hearts and sunshine emojis.)

In her traditional online birthday message to Betty last August, Reese wrote, “Happy Birthday to the best mom I could ever ask for. Thank you for always believing in my dreams and encouraging me…and making me smile every day.

Reese, a mother of three, regularly updates fans on how her mother is doing. In a September 2022 post, Betty appeared with one of the actress’ children in another family photo.
