Reese Witherspoon is producing Netflix series about all-female F1 Academy… after Kendall Jenner showed her support for the circuit at Miami Grand Prix

Formula 1’s all-female feeder series, F1 Academy, is getting the Drive to Survive treatment.

Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine has begun filming a currently untitled multi-part docuseries, which promises to give fans a look behind the helmets of up-and-coming drivers in the sport.

“What we know is that if we put women at the center, people will come and watch,” Witherspoon said last week.

“We started Hello Sunshine to change the narrative for women, and Susie Wolff and the F1 Academy are doing just that by creating new opportunities in the exciting world of motorsport,” she continued, referring to the series director and the wife of Mercedes. team boss Toto Wolff.

Some of Witherspoon’s previous productions include Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, Hulu’s Daisy Jones and the Six and HBO’s Big Little Lies.

The upcoming show, which will highlight “the drama of the races, as well as the personal stories and high stakes for the drivers,” will debut on the streamer in 2025.

The news follows Kendall Jenner’s appearance in the F1 Academy paddock last Friday and Saturday during the Miami Grand Prix.
