Reese Witherspoon looked happy and relaxed as she walked her French bulldog in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, after officially filing for divorce from her husband of more than 10 years.
Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com show the Legally Blonde star, 47, dressed casually in black leggings, a tie-dyed sweater, sunglasses and a baseball cap as she walked her dog, Minnie Pearl, around a park on Sunday with a friend.
Noticeably absent from her outfit were her wedding and engagement bands, though the actress tried to hide her bare fingers by wrapping her dog’s leash around her hand as photographers spotted her.
The actress was also seen on the phone with her friend, just days after she and her husband, Jim Toth, filed for divorce.
The celebrity couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and must now take parenting classes for their 10-year-old son Tennessee.

Witherspoon and Toth, 52, had previously announced on social media that they were getting a divorce.
The Big Little Lies actress and talent agent wrote: “We have some personal news to share… It is with great care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and we are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for all that we have created together.
“Our highest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.
‘These issues are never easy and are extremely personal. We really appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”
But no mess: “There’s no drama,” the People insider insisted. ‘They love [their son] Tennessee and this is your focus. They will continue to co-parent amicably.’
Divorce papers obtained by TMZ reveal that the couple reached a prenuptial agreement in March 2011.
Reese indicated in the court papers that the contract was valid, “providing ‘adequate and sufficient provisions’ for his assets and debts,” reports TMZ.
He also noted that he will submit his prenuptial agreement and a permanent parenting plan for Tennessee for the judge’s approval.
The actress kept her dog’s leash around her left hand in an attempt to hide her ringless fingers.
Witherspoon looked stern but happy as she spoke on the phone before her friend arrived.

At one point it seemed that Minnie Pearl did not want to continue the walk through the park.

Witherspoon hugged her friend as they said goodbye on Sunday. She has been spending a lot more time in Nashville, while working on the production of the Apple TV music competition show My Kind of Country.
Sources close to the actress have said the divorce was a “badly kept secret” as Witherspoon and Toth found themselves “two very different people”.
Someone close to both of them, for example, said People that the ambitious producer “has her hand in many pots” and Toth “prefers less frenzy.”
“They’ve been spending less and less time together while she’s been working,” the unnamed source explained, noting that the longtime duo recently “found themselves with fewer interests in common.”
Reese has been described as “stubborn and focused”, while Jim is said to be “more laid back”.
The Pleasantville actress spent more time in Nashville in 2022 while working on the production of the Apple TV music competition show My Kind of Country.
He also traded in a local house for nearly double the cost of what he paid for the house, while his company Hello Sunshine produced the Amazon series. Daisy Jones and the six.
The actress has also been keeping busy filming the third season of The Morning Show, in which she stars opposite Jennifer Aniston.
Meanwhile, Toth has kept a seat on the board of directors of Flowcode, a technology company. Before that, he left the talent agency CAA to briefly work at the failed streaming platform Quibi.

Reese and Jim were married in March 2011 and soon after welcomed their son Tennessee, who is now 10 years old.
Reese also shares daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
