Reddit: Diner speechless over unbelievable breakfast wrap fail

Hungry worker speechless after hilarious breakfast wrap in cafe: ‘You got what you asked for’

  • Diner ordered a bacon and egg wrap with a hash brown
  • The hash brown was placed on top of the wrap rather than in it

A diner was speechless when his simple breakfast order didn’t arrive as expected.

The man asked for a hash brown on his bacon and egg wrap one morning – but apparently wasn’t clear enough with his order.

His friend quickly shared a photo of the unlikely breakfast mix Reddit.

His request was taken quite literally – and he got a hash brown balancing on top of the tortilla wrap instead of in it.

Redditors were quick to respond to the matter, saying he “got exactly what he asked for.”

“That’s hilarious!” one wrote, the other said, “He should have said ‘in’ the cover, then he shouldn’t have.”

“I don’t see any problems here. There’s a hash brown and a wrap!’ added a third.

“So much for the service,” wrote a third.

Another suggested the situation may be a case of “malicious compliance,” where an employee follows orders that are too direct.

“When I worked in the fast food chain, it was common for people to do this intentionally on their last shift,” one person wrote.

The Reddit post was liked by more than 4,300 people.

Earlier this year, a bride who dreamed of a cluster of white, flower-laden wedding cakes was left with a pile of clumpy white fondant and tears after choosing the wrong baker.

Earlier this year, a bride was devastated after asking her baker to make a cake similar to the one above for her wedding day.

The cake she received was covered in lumpy fondant and sticky plastic decorations

The bride was super excited to see her wedding vision in cake form and had even given her baker a photo of her dream wedding cake – a three-layer vanilla cake with fresh white fondant, tastefully decorated with flowers and greenery.

She also ordered four “side dishes” so that none of her guests would miss out, and though she knew they would be smaller, she hoped they would have similar charm.

“That was one of the things I was so looking forward to seeing and my partner and I were so unhappy and disappointed with how it turned out,” she said.

She explained the “first look,” a photo of one of the side dishes seemed fine, although people have since taken apart the baker’s photo.

With some wanting to know why it was resting on a couch in a dirty living room and not put on the kitchen bench or table.
