The 60-year-old musician, who is one of the founding members of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, has often used the property as a writing retreat for his band members over the past 30 years.
His father, Mick, acted as his manager and accepted the lower offer as the bassist was on the Perth leg of his Australian tour, he reported. the daily telegraph.

Two people bid on the Congo beachside house in the bushes with the winning bid going to a local who offered $2,475,000.
Nearly 100 people showed up to the auction hoping to catch a glimpse of Balzary, but were disappointed to find only her father and auctioneer Ben Mitchell.
Balzary’s home went on the market early last month with an asking price of $3 million after he purchased the property in 1994.

The 3,000-square-foot, two-story, five-bedroom home is located just minutes from Congo Beach.
Estate agent James Hamilton of LJ Hooker Moruya told realestate.com.au: “Flea has written a lot of music on the property and has had band members playing in what was the music room downstairs.”
“It has a contemporary California design that stretches out to the ocean with incredible views and really complements the natural setting.”

It comes as the Red Hot Chili Peppers kicked off their Australian tour with Post Malone on January 29.
The tour included performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth with the band set to move to Auckland and Dunedin.
It’s been four years since Post Malone last performed in Australia and the Red Hot Chili Peppers haven’t toured Down Under since 2019.
The 3,000-square-foot, two-story, five-bedroom home is located just minutes from Congo Beach.
