A UK-based dating coach has shared his guide detailing warning signs and warning signs that your boyfriend is planning to cheat on you
“He'll be quite meticulous and plan that whole sordid night of misbehavior with military precision.”
He advises: 'So if he comes up with a plan that sounds a bit strange or unusual, don't think you're being paranoid, don't think you're jumping to conclusions – trust your instincts.
'So the first thing to do is look out for plans that seem a little unusual or strange, or that are outside his normal routine.
'We're not talking about a normal weekend away with his friends drinking. If he comes up with something that, like I said, is a little unusual, it's not his normal movements.
“Suddenly he says to you, 'Oh, in two weeks I have a friend I went to college with who's in town for the weekend and we're going to have drinks but you can't come because we need to catch up a lot and you don't know him and he's very shy'.
'Such a plan is obvious. If it feels weird or wrong, it probably is.”
The dating coach added: 'Now there's a million excuses like that, it could be a friend of a friend who's in town, it could be a guys night out where girls aren't allowed, he could be going to work functioning with people you don't know.
'In fact, these are plans that are not usual for him, they don't seem usual to you and just make you think, 'hmm, that's a bit of a red flag. Is that an alarm bell in my head?'
Ollie Pearce, who posts relationship advice on TikTok under the name @olliepearcedatecoach , posted the video yesterday and it has already been viewed by almost 100,000 people
“Remember, he's going to drop these hints, these clues, these vague plans that he has up his sleeve, as quickly as possible because he wants to level the playing field.
“He wants to neutralize you and make sure you don't become an obstacle to him having fun that night – and make sure he doesn't get picked up after the night is over.”
“So usually he'll do it pretty early on, once the plan comes out he'll start dropping the clues and hints.”
Once you think something strange is going on, the dating professional urges you not to confront him or “act suspiciously.”
Instead, he explained, “Just pretend that everything is fine and nothing strange is going on. Ask him a few small questions about his night out in an interested and supportive manner.'
Ollie revealed: 'If he's lying, his whole body language, the way he speaks, the vocabulary he uses – it's all going to be bad.
“So the first thing we need to do is pay attention to his eye contact. If he makes too much eye contact, it's because he heard online that liars can't make eye contact.
“On the other hand, if he looks around the room and mumbles a bit and looks at the floor and has poor body language in that sense, he's probably lying again.
'Second, he will say way too many words, give too many details, he will keep adding extra bits to the conversation.
'In fact, he'll try to paint a much broader picture of what he's up to, of the person he's going to meet, so it's more of a web of lies and deceit that you have to climb through.
“But the truth is, the fact that he's saying all this information, all these details, talking too much, being a little weird with his body language and eye contact — is a clear sign that he's up to no good.”
He added: “If he really just met an old friend he would just say it, it is what it is, it will be a fact and if you ask him questions about what he is up to, he will” I'll just answer in a very normal way.
“It will be a short sentence because he simply doesn't have an agenda, so it doesn't show in the way he communicates.
'Basically if the plan comes up and it seems a bit unusual and weird to you and you're getting alarm bells, pay attention to the body language, pay attention to the eye contact, see how many words and how much detail he adds to the sentences he's trying to describe what he's doing.
“And if all that still doesn't seem right, then you know he's up to no good.”
Concerned viewers have shared their own stories in the comments, thanking the TikToker for “opening their eyes.”
