From Sydney Sweeney claiming her boobs ‘always fall out’ because designers won’t let her change her clothes to Emma Stone’s far too long sleeves – why are celebrities wearing clothes that don’t fit?

Despite having access to the most coveted designers and stylists, countless celebrities still suffer from wardrobe malfunctions on the red carpet.

Sydney Sweeney, 26, recently revealed that ill-fitting garments are due to outfits being loaned out as samples, which often don’t suit her voluptuous physique.

The Euphoria actress further explained that these garments cannot be cut or altered as they must be returned after each event.

Sydney is not alone; Emma Stone also appeared to have a wardrobe malfunction last week when she attended the AFI Awards luncheon in Los Angeles.

Decked out in Louis Vuitton, the petite Poor Things star showed off a set of billowy sleeves that extended past her fingertips.

Sydney has had its fair share of red carpet fails in recent years.

At the 2022 LACMA Art and Film Gala, the actress opted for a pastel pink ensemble by Giambattista Valli that championed the balletcore trend.

Still, her plunging mini dress turned heads because of the snug fit over her chest, which made her breasts look compressed.

The decision to pair her dress with pointe shoes also offended some professional ballet dancers, who claimed Sydney’s incorrect posture could be potentially dangerous.

In the TikTok clip, the actress acknowledges the challenge of finding the perfect dress and praises Miu Miu and Armani for being two labels willing to adapt designs to suit her.

Elsewhere, Jenna Ortega, 20, showed off an ill-fitting monochrome outfit while attending the 2023 world premiere of Scream VI.

The tuxedo-inspired dress, from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2022 Couture collection, had a deconstructed aesthetic.

But instead of working harmoniously, the oversized minidress and off-the-shoulder blazer drowned Jenna’s slim figure.

It’s safe to say all eyes were on Kylie Jenner when she hit the Met Gala red carpet in 2023 in a deep red dress.

The lip kit mogul, 25, looked ravishing in a custom asymmetrical Jean Paul Gaultier dress with a thigh-high leg slit that showed off her toned pins.

The striking ensemble also featured a matching two-tone robe, and that’s where the trouble started.

The combination of an oversized silhouette and flowing fabric caused the garment to continually slide off Kylie’s shoulders – and she eventually ditched it altogether.

Just last week, Emma Stone was criticized because a Louis Vuitton outfit looked a few sizes too big.

While attending the AFI Awards luncheon in Los Angeles, the Oppenheimer star opted for a black and white outfit, consisting of an oversized blouse and a ruffled maxi skirt.

Unfortunately, the latter apparently wasn’t tailored to Emma’s small frame, with the sleeves reaching past her fingertips.

Oppenheimer star Emily Blunt showed up at the AFI Awards luncheon in Los Angeles on Friday wearing a cream Louis Vuitton tuxedo-style jacket that made her petite frame look so small it looked more like a poncho.

The British star, 40, of The Girl On The Train and The Devil Wears Prada, who is reportedly worth more than £60 million, paired her oversized suit with a £5,000 calfskin Petite Malle Bag, also from the French fashion house.

Emily’s Oppenheimer co-star Florence Pugh followed with an almost identical look, but seemed to have the opposite problem.

Her jacket, by Stella McCartney, looked unflatteringly tight and was only buttoned halfway up Florence’s toned midriff.

The outfit is part of the British designer’s Spring 2024 collection, which Florence, 28, paired with a silver clutch.
