A recycling worker has reportedly been attacked by a customer, sparking a police hunt to find the attacker.
The vision of the customer holding the victim, Matty, in a headlock and holding him against a counter, was caught on camera in Findon, west Adelaide, on Thursday.
The “senseless” and “disgusting” act took place just before closing time after the worker refused to handle all of the man’s containers in his trailer.

Manager Nusia Dmytrenko at Rob’s Fuels and Leo’s Cans and Bottles told 7News it was a brutal attack on a ‘nice, polite’ and non-violent worker.
“It was pointless, I find it disgusting. We expect our employees to come to work and be in a safe environment,” she said.
The customer was startled with a trailer full of bottles he wanted to count, but Matty told him he wouldn’t process them all.
The attacker then grabbed the victim by the neck and tried to pull the man to the floor, before pushing him against a counter.
Workers watched in horror as the man held Matty close and screamed in his ear, demanding that he count the containers.
The employee, who has worked at the depot for several years, was shocked but not seriously injured by the scuffle and returned to work the next day.
Police are looking for the man responsible for the violent attack.
