Rebel Wilson recently put her Balmain property up for sale with an asking price of $2.3 million, but the most interesting detail in the sale is her connection to the agent managing the property.
The Australian actor, 44, has enlisted the expertise of her younger sister Annachi “Anna” Wilson, who became a sales agent for Cobden & Hayson real estate earlier this year after previously working as a buyer’s agent.
Anna, 32, the youngest of Rebel’s three siblings, is said to have helped her famous sister transform her previous property in Birchgrove, which the Pitch Perfect star sold for $9.5 million in 2022, reported The Nocturnal on Monday.
“While most agents move from sales agents to buyer agents, I have chosen to go the other way and make the switch to share my knowledge and help more people,” Anna said on the Cobden & Hayson website.
Anna is said to have secured more than $30 million worth of real estate for clients in her previous role as a buyer.

Rebel has put her long-held Balmain property up for sale with an asking price of $2.3 million, after buying it for $1.88 million in 2015.
The investment property, nestled within the heritage-listed Lever Brothers soap factory in Sydney, will be auctioned on June 22.
The Hollywood actor hired Cobden & Hayson agents Anna and Matthew Hayson to handle the sale, the newspaper reports The Daily Telegraph earlier this month.
The ‘house-like’ apartment is spread over two levels and boasts 130 m² of space with two balconies and a roof terrace off the kitchen on the top floor.
The cooking area offers stunning views of the CBD skyline and Anzac Bridge, Carrara quartz stone worktops and a luxurious breakfast bar.

Two bedrooms and a study area fill the entry level of the unit, with the master bedroom boasting an expansive walk-in robe and en suite bathroom.
EV drivers will be happy to see a charging station installed in the building’s double-secure parking garage.
It comes just a few years after the Pitch Perfect star sold her Sydney Harbor home for an estimated $9.5 million in 2022.

Rebel bought the three-bedroom property in early 2015 for $3.76 million, before bringing in architect Paul O’Connor for a ‘meticulous renovation’.
She made a staggering profit of $5.74 million after owning the house for just seven years Realty.com.au.
Rebel had put the house up for sale in March 2022 and announced the sale in April, but the sale price and new owners were not announced until July.

The keys were handed over to Nick Smart, the founder of perfume distribution company Agence de Parfum, and his husband Todd Graham, a pet food entrepreneur.
The property was previously owned by author Peter Carey, who sold it for less than a million dollars in the early 1990s when he moved to New York.
Rebel wrote on Instagram on April 11 of that year: ‘She is sold. Thank you everyone for your interest in my Sydney home. Great result all round.
‘I’m going to miss this house so much! But I hope the new buyers will love it as much as I do.”
