During an interview with People In March, Wilson spoke highly of motherhood and revealed her daughter’s first and “favorite” word.
“It shocks me how much she melts my heart,” the star told the outlet. “And when she says, ‘Mama?’ Lately, that’s her new favorite word.”
“And that was her very first word. It melts your heart and you’re like, ‘Aw.’ I thought I’d be a strict parent, but apparently I’m the opposite.”
Rebel shared how her surrogate became pregnant with her “last viable embryo” and called her daughter “a miracle.”
“She opens her eyes and looks at us. We’re a family now,” the actress continued, referring to Agruma, later adding, “I’m a mother. It’s a bloody miracle.”
And while I’m talking to you Romper In July, the Australian-born star admitted that “the sleep deprivation is insane.”
It’s just me and [my fiancée] “Ramona is the parent now and Roycey was awake at 5 a.m. this morning,” she mused, using her daughter’s nickname.
“Even when she’s asleep, she might wake up twice a night. That’s twice if you’re in deep sleep and you hear the baby monitor and you’re like…”

Walking the red carpet at the TIFF premiere of The Deb, the star turned heads in a strapless purple gown that hugged her body and featured panels of sheer fabric around the bodice for a dramatic look.
Her blonde locks were parted on the side and pulled into a chic updo, leaving wavy strands framing the right side of her face

Rebel added: “But she’s just in such a cute phase. She’s really into books and classical music, which is really cool. Beethoven, Mozart, all that.”
“I think she’s a little bit of a genius, but I think all mothers think that of their children at that age.”

During the film’s premiere at TIFF, Rebel became embroiled in a legal drama with three of the project’s producers.
She is being sued for defamation by Amanda Ghost, Gregor Cameron and Vince Holden after Wilson accused the three of “bad behavior” on set.
She also accused them of embezzlement and of attempting to prevent the film from being shown at TIFF.
After the producers filed a lawsuit, Wilson responded on Instagram, addressing Len Blavatnik, the film’s financier.
“Len Blavatnik please stop funding and protecting Amanda Ghost, Gregor Cameron and Vince Holden,” she wrote in a post.
“All I’ve done is tell the truth about these absolute assholes. Now they’re filing a false libel lawsuit and spreading false articles to cause even more harm.”
Wilson said People ahead of the premiere that The Deb “will shine” – even though the legal issues are “not ideal.”

“It’s so good and so original and so unique. The film will shine.”
