Rebel Wilson slams Sacha Baron Cohen AGAIN for ‘humiliating and degrading’ her on set – as she defends decision to name him in shock memoir insisting she was ‘100 per cent truthful and honest’

Rebel Wilson has once again lashed out at Sacha Baron Cohen for ‘humiliating and humiliating’ her on set – as she defended her decision to name him in her shock memoir by insisting she was ‘100 per cent truthful and honest ‘ used to be.

The Australian actress, 44, appeared on the Today show opposite Hoda Kotb on Monday to discuss the tell-all titled Rebel Rising.

She had previously said she was going to write a chapter in the book about a “huge jerk” she had worked with in Hollywood – but did not initially reveal the person’s identity.

Rebel later revealed on Instagram that she was referring to Ali G and Borat actor Sacha, with the pair starring alongside each other in 2016 spy action comedy The Brothers Grimsby.

Earlier today, the Pitch Perfect star again defended explosive claims about the 52-year-old producer who has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

The segment started with REbel describes the upcoming memoir as “very personal,” as she shared, “I feel a mix of fear because to be so vulnerable and put everything out there, it takes some courage to do that.”

Hoda, 59, then asked the actress about the chapter in the book that references working with Sacha the “worst professional experience” and shared, “I couldn’t help but feel like I was being humiliated.”

The host asked if Rebel was happy that she included the claims, to which the actress replied, “Yes. I mean, that was something that happened ten years ago.

‘Obviously I’m over it now, but it was my worst professional experience – and I just felt humiliated and degraded as a person.

‘I thought it was worth sharing in a book because there are probably many people who have had the same experiences.’

She continued: ‘Since all the headlines started appearing, I’ve had many women say they’ve had similar experiences with this man.

“So at least to help some people not feel alone and to know that you can experience something like that at work and come out a stronger person.”

Rebel and Sacha worked together on The Brothers Grimsby in 2016.

In the passage of her memoirs obtained by PeopleRebel claimed that Sacha would repeatedly ask her to undress for scenes, despite her ‘no nudity’ rule.

The most shocking claim was that he asked her to “stick her finger up his ass” because he thought it would make for a funny scene in the movie.

Rebel claimed, “It felt like every time I talked to SBC he said he wanted me to get naked in a future scene. I thought, “Ha, I don’t do nudity, Sacha.”

The actress claimed that she was allegedly called in by a production assistant for an extra scene while filming in Cape Town, South Africa.

Rebel wrote: “Okay, we’re going to film this extra scene,” says SBC. “Then he pulls down his pants,” SBC says very matter-of-factly: “Okay, now I want you to stick your finger in my ass.” And I’m like, “What?? … No!!”‘

The Pitch Perfect star claimed she was shocked and wanted to get out, adding: ‘I was scared now. I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I hit him on the butt and improvised a few lines as a character.”

The Bridesmaids actress also claimed that she only agreed to a sex scene with Sacha after several rewrites and recalled telling producers that she would not promote the film before its release.

Sacha has strongly denied ever assaulting Rebel or pressuring her to be naked in the film.

A spokesperson for Sacha said: ‘While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.’

Elsewhere in the interview on Today, Hoda asked Rebel her thoughts on his reaction, to which she said: “Knowing his character, I assumed he would react this way.

‘When I write a memoir, the book goes through a full legal vetting, so obviously there are a lot of people who support what I say in the book. The book is 100 percent honest and truthful.’
