Rebel Wilson ventured across the pond to Switzerland for the premiere of her new film The Almond and the Seahorse.

The 42-year-old actress took to the red carpet at the Zurich Film Festival for the world premiere of her new film, which will hit theaters on December 16.

She posed on the red carpet with co-stars Charlotte Gainsbourg and Trine Dyrholm and director-co-star Celyn Jones.

The blonde actress stepped outside wearing a knee-length royal blue dress that fell to her knees.

She completed her look with a pair of black pumps as she walked the red carpet on Monday.

The premiere was held at Zurich’s Kino Corso and marked the film’s worldwide premiere ahead of its theatrical release in December.

The Almond and the Seahorse adaptation was first announced in October 2020, based on Kaite O’Reilly’s play of the same name.

The story follows: “An archaeologist and an architect fight to re-imagine a future after being driven away from the people they love by traumatic brain injury.”

Celyn Jones and Tom Stern direct from a script that Jones co-wrote with O’Reilly, with Jones also playing his part from the play Joe.

Wilson has impressed fans with her 35kg weight loss since she embarked on a “health year” in 2020, although sources claimed she wasn’t interested in losing more weight yet.

“Rebel no longer works with a trainer on a daily basis to lose more weight now that she has reached her goal,” an insider told US Weekly.

On the contrary, she is focused on maintaining the weight she has lost and being comfortable in her own skin. She is a very positive person and feels very good about how far she has come,” the source added.

Wilson is also slated to star in the new movie K-Pop: Lost in America, alongside Charles Melton.

The story follows a beloved K-Pop group about to make their American debut at Madison Square Garden in New York City…though they get stuck in Waco, Texas.
