Rebel Wilson reveals awkward encounter with Meghan Markle

Rebel Wilson opened up on Saturday about an awkward encounter she and her mother Sue Bownds recently had with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The Bridesmaids actress, 43, revealed they were introduced to the royal couple through a mutual friend, saying that while Harry “couldn’t have been nicer,” Meghan “wasn’t that cool.”

“Meghan wasn’t that hot by nature,” she told host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.

However, Rebel admitted that Meghan’s cold demeanor may have been due to her mother Sue asking her some personal questions.

“My mum, who’s Australian, used to ask her all these somewhat rude questions, like ‘where are your kids?’ and things like that,” she said.

Maybe that’s why she wondered, ‘Who are those obnoxious convicts from Australia?’ I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that,'” she joked.

Rebel recently got engaged to her fiancé Ramona Agruma, 39, at Cinderella’s Castle in Disneyland, California.

They plan to hold their wedding at the same venue.

On November 7, Rebel introduced her adorable daughter Royce to the world.

Rebel called her bundle of joy a “beautiful miracle” when she shared a photo of the baby on Instagram.

In June 2022, Rebel came out as a lesbian and introduced Ramona as the lucky lady who stole her heart.

“I thought I was looking for a Disney prince… but maybe what I really needed all along was a Disney princess,” Wilson posted on Instagram.
