Rebel Wilson reveals plans to go ‘private for 10 years’ after release of bombshell memoir which accused Sacha Baron Cohen of sexual harassment: ‘I’m going to a log cabin!’

Rebel Wilson has revealed she plans to go off the grid following the release of her impressive memoir, Rebel Rising on Tuesday.

The actress, 44, whose memoir makes shocking claims about her experience with British star Sacha Baron Cohen, 52, said she wants to retire to a cabin now that the tome is in the public domain during a chat on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

She said: ‘I’m probably going private for the next eight to 10 years after this because I share so much in the book.

Referring to daughter Royce and fiancée Ramona Agruma, she added, “After this, I’m going to take Ramona and the baby to a cabin or something.”

Footage from the sex scene in the 2016 film in which Wilson claims Baron Cohen told her to “stick her finger up his ass” appears to show that the action was actually part of the script and that the actress participated in the scene.

Several never-before-seen clips from the film The Brothers Grimsby that didn’t make it into the final cut have been exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com and they show Wilson and Cohen’s characters using a cell phone to film them getting intimate .

But Wilson stands by the claims she made in her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising, in which she says Cohen asked her to “stick your finger up my ass” while his “male friends” stood around laughing and recording on an iPhone.

Cohen has called the claims “demonstrably false” and “directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence.”

According to those close to Cohen, Leterrier had to discuss nudity or sex scenes with Wilson before they were shot. They say she agreed to the scene.

They also say the cell phone was used because the movie called for Dawn and Nobby to use an iPhone to film themselves having sex.

Several people who worked on the film and were present during the filming of the scene have come forward to talk about their experiences on set in support of Cohen.

Clips from the scripted scene, which were read and approved by Wilson before filming began, tell a different story, film insiders say.

Producers tell DailyMail.com that Wilson was well aware of the intimate scene at the time she accepted the role of Dawn and she was “fully engaged…confidently kissing Nobby.”

Referring to daughter Royce and fiancé Ramona Agruma, she added: ‘After this I’m going to take Ramona and the baby into a cabin or something.’

The author recently said her daughter’s first word was “mama.”

In the wake of her statement, Sacha said: ‘While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence’

Rebel Wilson tweeted about the incident in 2017, but did not mention Cohen. Wilson wrote: “A male star in a position of power asked me to go into a room with him and then repeatedly asked me to stick my finger up his ass. While his male ‘friends’ tried to film the incident on their iPhone and laughed.

According to a call sheet obtained by DailyMail.com, the scene was shot in a stadium in Cape Town that looked like a bedroom.

The detailed call sheet shows which characters are needed, which scenes are being shot and includes a note in all caps, underlined and bold that reads: ‘No personal photos, video or digital photography or tweeting on set at any time, including cell phone cameras .’

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Wilson repeated her book’s description of Cohen as an asshole.

“It’s a piece of shit to release footage of part of that disgusting episode while leaving out everything that came before it, including my shocked refusal to stick my finger up SBC’s ass,” she said.

Wilson branded her sex scene with Sacha Baron Cohen ‘the most disgusting thing ever’, nine years before calling the star an ‘a**hole’ in her new memoir

“This couldn’t possibly have been for the film as director Louis Leterrier wasn’t even present,” she claimed.

“What this edited video shows is what I had to do to get out of the room, as written in Rebel Rising. Releasing unauthorized and misleading behind-the-scenes videos without my consent is SBC’s latest way to bully and gaslight me.”

Wilson’s version of events has changed several times over the years, from claiming the incident took place in a room recording “male friends,” to being “called” by Cohen and told on the spot that they had an extra scene had to film.
