A 35-year-old mother who filmed herself performing sex acts with her beagles has been spared jail.
Rebecca Louise Micallef faced the Gold Coast's Southport District Court on Wednesday after admitting recording 28 short videos with one or both dogs in January.
She also filmed herself trying unsuccessfully to have sex with her male dog, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.

Prosecutor Stephanie Gallagher said Micallef sent the videos to her then-boyfriend, who repeatedly messaged her wanting her to have sex with the dogs.
He had asked her to 'practice' on the dogs and send him videos, the court was told.
There were no indications that the animals had suffered any harm.
The court heard Micallef has mental health problems and an eating disorder, and also suffered domestic violence in a previous relationship, leaving her vulnerable.
The mother, who could now lose her job, cried in court as her offending was detailed.
Micallef pleaded guilty to attempted bestiality and breach of duty of care by improper treatment.
Judge Jodie Wooldridge said Micallef's offending was 'clearly unacceptable'.
She was sentenced to 15 months in prison, suspended for 18 months and placed on probation.
She is banned from owning animals for five years.
