Rebecca Judd’s startling warning to the government after yet another home invasion in her ritzy Brighton neighbourhood
Rebecca Judd has once again turned the heat on Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan after another terrifying crime wave in her affluent suburb.
The latest terrifying incident occurred early Tuesday morning when thieves stole two cars from the home of high-profile lawyer Dermot Dann in the exclusive bayside suburb of Brighton in Melbourne’s south-east.
The thieves reportedly tried to run over startled residents who tried to intervene and stop the crime wave.
Angered by the brazen theft, the former AFL WAG continued her one-woman crime against the Allan government on Tuesday when she shared a message from Brighton MP James Newbury condemning the latest incident.
“These people are fighting back because (Jacinta Allan) hasn’t given them a choice. Protect your neighbor,” Judd said in an Instagram post.
She lives in a $7.3 million mansion in Brighton with her husband, former AFL premiership star Chris Judd, and their four children.
The Herald Sun reported that a group of at least five people arrived in the suburb in stolen cars before trying to force their way into several homes around 6 a.m.
They broke into an Audi and a Lexus SUV belonging to Mr Dann and his family.

Mr Dann’s clients include missing camper killer Greg Lynn and former St Kilda AFL star turned drug trafficker Sam Fisher.
Neighbors heard the disturbing commotion and rushed outside with supplies to defend themselves before they were reportedly almost run over by the speeding stolen cars.
Police found the stolen Audi dumped in a nearby street not long after the burglary.
A 14-year-old girl was arrested nearby, but the other perpetrators fled on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
Judd has consistently called on the Victorian Government to do more to tackle youth crime in Melbourne.
In August, Judd cautiously welcomed Premier Allan’s plans to overhaul the state’s bail laws as Melbourne’s youth crime crisis escalates.
‘This is a start,” she told her 750,000 Instagram followers.
She pointed out that ‘three innocent lives’ had reportedly been lost in the past 12 months to ‘out-of-control teenagers’.
“Never have Victorians felt so unsafe in their own homes. Violent, repeat offenders must be off the streets. Let’s see how these changes go,” she added.

Also in August, Judd expressed her anger that one of the youths allegedly involved in the kidnapping of Melbourne teenager Benjamin Phikhohpoom, which left him with permanent brain damage, was walking free despite pleading guilty.
“Victoria, this is not okay but unfortunately just another case of a violent offender dismissed because our laws are weak,” Judd wrote on social media.
In March this year, Judd once again unleashed the Prime Minister after a house burglary in her sub-district left an elderly man fighting for his life.
“Just another night in Victoria (yes, this is Bayside again, but we know this happens everywhere),” Judd told her Instagram followers.
Bec Judd took another swipe at Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan on Tuesday
“Jacinta Allan, how are you still avoiding this? Let’s see how many of the alleged perpetrators are out on bail… Our thoughts are with the victim in intensive care and his poor wife.”
In April, Judd was furious after multiple headlines reported that underage offenders had been released on bail in Victoria and took to Instagram Stories to criticize the Victorian government.
“And so it goes on… and on…,” she wrote alongside the headlines.
Following reports of another home invasion in the upmarket suburb of Beaumaris that left the victim in hospital, Judd wrote: ‘And another… I’m so sorry for the victim. I know it’s typical to say this, but the system has been wiped out for good.”
