Rebecca Judd reveals her secret to avoiding burn out just in time for the silly season: ‘It’s amazing what it can do for your soul’

Rebecca Judd has revealed why she often spends a night away from her family.

The AFL WAG took to Instagram on Wednesday to relieve her boredom while on holiday at a five-star Japanese resort with her husband and four children.

The 41-year-old posted a question and answer box for her 755,000 followers to interact with.

“I’m on vacation and suddenly have a lot of free time,” she wrote. “Ask me anything.”

A follower asked the model and influencer how she deals with burnout.

Burnout is an occupational phenomenon defined as a state of mental, physical and emotional exhaustion that can occur when a person is exposed to prolonged stress (usually in the workplace).

In her response, the mother of four revealed that she makes sure she makes time for her family to avoid burnout.

She shared her answer to the question on her Instagram Stories as she listed her mental wellness strategies.

‘Slept well; Infrared sauna; Exercise even if you don’t want to; No alcohol; Say no; Time away (even one night) from family so you can have some peace and quiet,” she wrote.

Expanding on that last thought, Bec wrote, “It’s amazing what an evening of not asking for anything can do for the soul.”

Bec and her AFL star husband Chris Judd have also recently indulged in child-free getaways together, sending thousands of people to Indonesian resorts and island living.

Just two months ago, Melbourne’s ‘It Couple’ departed a private resort on an Indonesian island and then headed to Singapore to stay at the famed Raffles Hotel, which has hosted guests such as Michael Jackson and Charlie Chaplin.

Staying in the lavish Palm Court Suite, the socialite and her former AFL star husband spent $1,899 to stay at the palatial hotel for one night.

It comes after Bec announced she has Finally completed the renovation of her Mornington Peninsula holiday home, after purchasing the original property for just $1.2 million almost a decade ago.

Located 85km from Melbourne, near Arthurs Seat, the three-bedroom pad features beautiful landscaped gardens and a stylish outdoor entertainment patio.

“Arthur’s Seat is complete,” Bec gushed in an Instagram post last Friday.

“A huge thank you to my epic team and partners for working to make this happen in record time.”

AFL star Chris and Bec tied the knot in 2010 and now share four children: daughter Billie, nine, son Oscar, 12, and twins Darcy and Tom.

In response to a follower asking where the Judds will spend Christmas, Bec shared a bird’s-eye photo of the Club Med Hokkaido resort.

‘I’m a little nervous about it. I’m not sure they celebrate Christmas that well and the communication about it is average,” she wrote sarcastically.

‘Also my twins hate the cold and aren’t afraid to melt in front of an entire resort, so this could be a disaster. I’ll report back as soon as we get there.’
